Diablo II: Resurrected PTR 2.6—New Rune Words - Has Ended

Hoping for 10 am PT like the PTR so it would be 19 CET, but that might be too early for Asia? Just depend which region they want to suffer  wish it was on a rotating start time.

judging by the last two launch starts it’ll be 5 pm PST

this has my fingers crossed :stuck_out_tongue: - get my son to bed at 730 our time, the season would start at 9pm my time - enough time between to prep some snacks and freshen up for all nighter!! haha

where the CLASSIC SHARED STASH

Can we have additional stash tabs, character slots, a melee & range rebalance for non-caster skills/classes, and a currency tab. Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeease.

Casual is the new “noob”

ehh its a 20 year old game and were a bunch of old men, I still think “noob” somewhat insulting and that wasn’t my intention

Thanks for the update, Pez. I know you take a lot of heat on behalf of decisions outside your personal scope. I’m glad the team will be making some extensive changes and will wait with cautious optimism for martial arts skills to get some reworking and for some type of stacking/space-saving solution for runes and gems.

I just want to say I do not like the back to back ladder seasons. I like that week or 2 weeks break to get my non ladder stuff in order before the next ladder season.

Hustle will be, as a mandatory pre-buff.

The surprise is already ruined by the PTR, at least partially.

Bug fixes should be announced. Skill changes too, so we don’t mess our characters by following an obsolete build. But new items don’t have to; the community could just discover them by looting them eventually.

That’s good news, I’m hoping there will be another PTR though so we can check these significant changes prior to release S3

If they remove the Blizzard forums, where will the resident trolls hang out?

In hardcore games… and anyone that doesn’t have good internet connection and are geographically within a few hundred kilometres of any one of the blizzard servers or doesn’t want to play like they have a machete attached to their steering wheel will move onto other games.

Right, every new item should be Enigma or Fortitude with universal appeal. You may not like the idea of build specific items but they are as old as the franchise! D1 was more vague but obviously, you were not gonna equip your sorceror with heavy armor, same with top tier spells on warrior. D2 has always had a similar principle with class specific items.
Learn the game before nay saying.

I don’t see how your post can be a reply to my post, but I’d like to make an effort to elaborate on my point of view in case there’s a misunderstanding.

If something about a skill is added, be it an extra effect or mechanism, if you add it only on an item you can only profit from this when you use that item, if you add it to the skill everyone who uses the skill, even when that skill is provided by +1 To Skill or through charges on an item, can profit.

Through my thousands of hours playing D2 and D3 I learned that build specific items are (much) more of a D3 thing. In D2 generally, most items are designed to be more versatile and can be used in multiple builds.
