Diablo clone event how?

I am curious to know how console users can use the /uberdiablo feature in the absence of chat and lobby?
I am aware that none of the Blizzard employees have even entered this forum. Because what for? We are overlooked at every step. I personally have my copies for two platforms, Sony and Nintendo, and I am still nobody in the eyes of the game developers, I can’t write on the main forum? Why am I worse? I still don’t have any in-game communication why?

I’m curious on this also but don’t really expect any official explanation in this part of the forums

You answered your own question. You can’t.

They need to fix this. It’s completely unfair. There is absolutely impossible to check this, so we get screwed. Once more. Great job blizzard. PC gets special privileges once more.

Dclone event just happened tonight. Messages were sent and he appeared in multiple games on console so I’d say that’s a big improvement.

No. It’s not an improvement. Console can’t CHECK when he’ll spawn like PC.

He spawned when I was leveling NM character, know why? Because I couldn’t check his status like PC. Which is completely unfair.

Is it really that hard to add a feature or button to check his status? Evidently it clearly is.

Probably. Maybe just delete the game and move on?

You should too while you’re at it.

I don’t have a problem with the game, it doesn’t make sense for me to do so. You are clearly unhappy with the product.

Because I don’t like stuff half-way done… That’s not how I operate at my job or anywhere in life, and neither should Blizzard.

5 million copies sold, without the consoles they are not even close, they have taken our money and forgotten us, great business

There was another dclone event on Saturday. I saw the message that he was going to spawn while I was playing a game on normal. I created a game in hell and waited for the final message to say he spawned and was able to kill him again. I then joined a friend’s game and helped them kill the one that spawned there. So I was able to participate in 3 dclone kills in 2 days, so it seems pretty easy on console. Just play the game and you get notified.

Here’s a question you might know the answer to.
So selling sojs to merchants online goes toward the dclone pool which I assume you can’t buy them back.
Offline as far as I know but haven’t tested on console you sell one and he spawns. Which I again assume you can’t buy back.
But if he doesn’t spawn and there’s no pool, can I get my soj back like any other sold item? I wanna do a dclone but don’t want to waste my only soj :joy:

You cannot buy back unique items. 95% Sure

Not sure how the clone events work on console. Simply because it was not needed for my goals so far. You don’t need to be the tester with a SoJ, the info will be out there.

Gimmy a sec I’ll look around.

Uber Diablo (A.K.A Clone Diablo)

(2.4 / 1.14) Update.

"The way that players summon Uber Diablo in Diablo II: Resurrected today will remain the same as it was first introduced in v1.10, by selling Stone of Jordan rings. However, we have updated how and where that progress is calculated to improve the experience for the entire community.

Uber Diablo progress for each game type will now be kept by the regional database. When the threshold is met by selling enough Stone of Jordan rings, Uber Diablo will spawn for everyone in the same region, not only those on the same server instance.

Progress towards Uber Diablo is now tracked per game type. Gathering a total of 8 progressions being tracked. Those being Classic, Classic Hardcore (HC), Classic Ladder, Classic HC Ladder, Expansion, Expansion HC, Expansion Ladder, Expansion HC Ladder. Given this change, we have added new messaging for players to help them anticipate when Uber Diablo may spawn. This messaging will be sent out to all players in the region at certain tiers of progress and can be manually checked by using a /uberdiablo chat command. We hope these changes allow more players to get to experience the true terror that is Uber Diablo."

Booyah! This will help

If someone could repost my link as hyper text so it can be clicked you’d be doing the community a good deed.

A way to track the progress and info about it.

Some ADHD sauce.

Maybe it’s early and I had a wake and bake. What does this mean for offline console users. That it tracks sojs sold online even for offline? I’m confused hahaha

Not sure yet… I’m learning as I go.

Hmmm this?

Single player ubers- Can they be done?

“Furthermore, single player will now also include access to the Pandemonium Event and Uber Diablo content.” - Official

Just sell a SoJ and presto! Uber.

Think this topic has been Nerd Bombed to my crispy liking.

For extra clarification for those playing online you can see the uber diablo status messages under options/ message log.
They’re are 4 threshold messages that will appear on screen alerting you to dclone proximity to spawning. This gives plenty of time to create or join a game in hell in which he will spawn guaranteed. I know of a minimum of 3 spawns that happened this past weekend on Friday and Saturday. Anyone who complains that they can’t partake in uber diablo are the same ones who complain they don’t see runes drop. You need to play the game more often. If that’s not possible accept your situation or find a new game to play. D2 has never been about instant gratification.

But what about on console? That’s what I’m curious about
You are prolly right though… I might have to be one of the first just to see… such a bitter pill to swallow… I hope I can find another

A buddy of mine plays Switch offline, like myself, and he said he can confirm selling one SoJ spawns Diablo clone. I’ll test myself tonight or tomorrow, as I have 2 or 3 SoJs and could likely spare one.
