Diablo clone event how?

You can’t sell it and buy it back, it disappears from the shop list. It worked the same way on PC. You can spawn Diablo clone and get your anni without losing it in single player though.

I had my first uber diablo in hell cows, he took the cow kings spot

Ya it sucks we don’t have access to that feature. Cant imagine it would be that hard to add for console

Please elaborate as this sounds intriguing

Uber Diablo is Spawned in Single Player by Selling 1 SoJ (Stone of Jordan) to the vendor. I posted a video showing this.

“You can’t sell it and buy it back, it disappears from the shop list.”

If you admit that once you sell the SoJ that it’s not possible to get it back (Correctly so), how do you propose to get the Annihilous from Uber Diablo without losing the SoJ?

“The Annihilus is a unique Charm dropped by Uber Diablo.”

There is clearly some kind of confusion going on here.

I’d just like to know how to get a SOJ in offline mode. Been playing single player for months and yet to find 1. Only found 1 on bnet also. Lol

I got mine from hell andarial. From what I’ve been told and haven’t spent the time to test, if you drop you mad to about 250 and run meph on nightmare you have the best chance of finding one. If I’m wrong someone can correct

I have 4 SoJs. All 4 from Andy. 2 in Hell, 2 in NM.

Only one I’ve ever found is from hell duriel. Ps5 shows I’ve logged over 700 hours of total play time.

RNG is very weird. I went from never being able to find SoJs in D2 to finding 4 in three months in D2R.

There is no confusion, what I said is correct, but it’s probably not something I can post here, since it opens a Pandora’s box to a bunch of other things.

There is no value to honorable players if your suggested method is an exploit. It’s even more pointless when it’s Single Player and you’re ruining your own experience.

So…

  1. Why mention it at all?
  2. I know the exploit and it does not open a “pandora’s box” to anything except more of the same.
  3. There is something worse than being a terrible gamer, cheating by any method to hide the former.

Back when diablo 1 was on ps1, I saved chars and opened them in pre-existing games just to dupe the stat potions and apocalypse scrolls. It kinda did ruin the game before I even got fully into it. I actually ended up restarting an Amazon cause it made the game pretty lame. Still have d1 on ps1 too, maybe one day il go play it in my game room for nostalgia.
I like to know of the exploits though not for gain, but for avoiding or just to simply know. I actually ruined a lot of games by doing crap like that. Learned my lesson too :joy:
Even on d2 for pc, it took like 2 days before I tired of map hack. It got quite sophisticated over time eventually showing you where hordes are and what shrines are in the current map.
Took a lot of the fun out of it for me.

It definitely has value for testing things out. There was someone in this thread that was going to sacrifice their only soj , just try something out. I’m more than happy to “cheat” to give someone a definite answer.

  1. I mentioned it because not everyone is going to share your morals. There may be people that see value in keeping the item, rather looking for another for weeks/months. Like you said, it’s single player, and they would only be affecting their own experience.

  2. I don’t think those two things are related especially not in the context of this discussion. Waiting for luck based drops does not take skill.

That would be me. I’d be willing to try it. Still got a little cold feet but progression and change is all about getting outside of your comfort zone.

offline dupes still work in 2.4?

might go for hc lvl99 offline if they do. gotta farm that perfect anni

Time is a fundamental factor in creating challenge. To subvert time is to subvert the challenge.

Level 99 Challenge

Monster gives ‘x’ amount of XP Time to kill monster based on gear and character level Better gear affected by magic find, monster level, drop rates (% Chance to drop) Leveling XP with deminished returns past Clvl 70 = Time to complete

Subverting the item system is subverting the time to complete and therefore the challenge.

Choosing to avoid an aspect of the process is evidence of it being a factor of the challenge.

Tell yourself what ever you wish and justify it in any way you want but it’s cheating.

I’ve got no issue with people cheating themselves. It’s not for me though.

:face_vomiting: It’s poison to my systems of value.

I got one spawn 3 days ago on PS5. So it definitely works. Just check the message log in the options menu and you can track all stages.

Oh yea I remember how it’s done. To me, much like jerkin it. All the work with no payoff. I wouldn’t wanna ruin my game to begin with, and backing up chars on external devices is way to much work for me to want to bother even with the devices on hand. I agree, it’s kind of against how I play a game until I beat it in it’s entirety. Super easy method really, but not worth ruining my fun.
