I always wondered why summon necros avoid delirium helm. They never really gave a reason other than use a harlq shako. I wasn’t convinced and tried the helm myself. I can say with confidence that delirium is THE single most GG helm for summoner necros (provided that you have a beast). It gives a whopping over 30% chance to cast a CC on to the crowds while teleporting along with MF 2skills and and great DEF. Got turned into a stygian doll? No problems, just hit that button to switch to wearbear and you cancel it out immediately not to mention you dont have to wear the ugly green c$%(Om anymore. Just my 2 cents for the summon necros feeling despair whenever they see their ungodly ugly character before they log in.

Yeah I just added them up. I am fully aware that isnt how ‘it works’ and it rolls individually but its close enough none the less
the rune word is bad… Who wants to be a fetish ? In HC that is very bad
Just hit the werebear button on beast. takes 0.5 second at most.
The Fetish issue is the main problem, if you have beast you have a solution.
The other idea is it’s much more expensive than a simple shako. I agree it looks a hell of a lot better but you have to already have a ton of great items/everything to make it worth running.
I would take it for the style over the green…thing any day. But I probably won’t see the ‘stuff’ to make it work for a long time.

Plus skills for a summoner is more desirable to make your skullies and golem stronger. My clay golem doesn’t survive long in hell without at least +8 to skills. I would put the Delirium on the Merc. It’s a useful helm!

I gambled a +2 to necy, + 16 ST + 39 Life + 17 all resists circlet. I’ll be using that for quite a while. Maybe get into delerium at some point, I like the bone helm look over the circlet.

Decent find man. If it had FCR and MF it would be pretty gg item (except ugly ofc).

None. Undead crown does have 3+ skeleton mastery, but other than 3+, its a bit lack luster on the options. On par (2+) are circlets/tiara/diadem/uniq shako

i guess i was just confused because he said he would put it on a merc instead because summon necro needs more + skills.

Delerium is the most underrated helm in the game. I use it on every one of my toons mercs. You do not need any lifeleech when the monsters are not attacking you.

i been using delirium for a long time, even tho i am a bonemancer, is a great early helm with plus 2 skills. theres a way to reset doll mode not many people know… you just have to tank some hit or stand in fire to let the spell recast again to transform you back…

Rare circlets are the best helm for almost every class/spec in the game

Going to have to disagree on this … they are excellent for some builds, but not most.

Depends on what you are doing, but a few options would be;
2x 15 resist all, +20 life Jewels
