who comes here to post positive comments? I don’t know about you guys but I only come to the forums when the game is messed up.
Its pretty baffling that there are people who dont expect this on day 1.
Not like it happened with every single other Blizzard release or anything…
To be fair, I would not be here if I could be in game.
But I am not here to post negative comments either.
I will express my desire to play, and request the fixes to come out asap, but I wouldn’t really call that negative or positive.
Considering this was a standard introduced in 2011, and any gaming processor sold in the last several years has this, I would assume that was already noted. Also, if you read the system requirements, those processors listed as minimums, are AVX compatible processors.
Great. Then you are informed then. Im not. Whos fault is that you think? Blaming the customer right? I should spend some hours reading through forums just to find a few hidden posts here and there, and get what info again?
Why cant i start the game? How long does it take to fix it? Surely you have answers to these questions, 6 some hours ago, before i refunded my broken product, since you are content with the information provided on these forums…
Im sure you understood that i meant it wasnt sufficient. And again. I have no idea why you are green on these forums. Nitpicking, not even remotelly wanting to understand the point im making, just proves my intitial question.
You are part of the problem.
Sounds like your the kind of person that goes to a restaurant and wants money back cause you didn’t finish your meal
That is probably a bit too far.
However, yes, if you feel like the launch issues are greater than the long-term potential enjoyment I do agree with going to your CC company if the refund is declined.
Just prepare to have your blizzard account locked if you go that route.
Yes, that is a fair warning to people.
I’m personally planning on 100s of D2 hours so even if I get hit by the locked bug I’ll just go play Magic Arena and come back later.
Sad/Disappointed of course but other things to do.
OP is not merely whining about normal launch troubles.
hes talking about certain processors not even being able to launch the game at all.
ive had plenty of launch issues and live with them but id be pissed if it didnt launch at all
If it is not launching at all that might be one of the few cases that would be able to get a refund after making a character.
might be the best thing to happen to me since 2005.
Not Bliz’s as can be seen by anyone who looks in multiple places.
At least you’ve moved from no info, to little info, to not wanting to help yourself to the available info that was out there. But that and refunding are your prerogative. What was important here was your inaccurate claims.
But as I said, those that may see your words may not understand.
I understood it, which is why I spent this time rebutting it for the sake of others.
Disinformation is the problem, Cleng. Setting the record straight hardly is.
The fact they even have the audacity to decline a refund is just ridiculous
“Sorry, this order is not eligible for refund.
A penalty has been applied to this account too recently.”
The game is not working and I cant get refund cuz… I have a temporary chat silence in World of Warcraft WTF…
big RIP
hopefully you get it figured out
“really don’t want to play the game”?
I don’t think you understand, thousands of us literally can’t even get to the menu. And we MIGHT be fixed by Monday.
For many people, playing launch weekend along side their friends was the whole purpose of their purpose. Playing alone a week later is not what they wanted. It is not unreasonable or surprising a lot of people are upset and want refunds.
and look at all the people defending this poorly released game…look at all the people saying “oh man all blizz games are like this at launch ber da ber”…look at all these empathetic dudes happy they paid for another not prepared game. Is it okay that all there games release this way? seems a shame after so many years of putting games ut nothing has been learned. the scariest part is how many peole seem to be okay with it
They are only boot licking because they can play the game at all. Zero empathy. JuSt WaIt iT oUt, while they play.
Under the message that says you’re declined, there’s a small link that reads something along the lines of appeal. Click that, and you’ll be able to appeal the decline.
