⭐ D2R Ladder Reset -- June 20

D2R Ladder Reset – June 20

D2 Players also play POE and POE has 3.26 League start on the 13th of June.

:warning:
DO NOT launch D2R Season 11 on the same day as POE 3.26

They may launch same as POE, they have done it before for POE2. D3 starts on june 6th so d2r will not start that day and d4 starts July 1st so there’s that too.

I don’t care about PoE 1 at all, and only play 2. BUT, overlapping with major ARPG season launches should become a big no no. So let’s not do that, Blizz.

I don’t play either of those games, and probably never will. The more people come into diablo spaces and mention them, the more I don’t want to even try them so what they have going on doesn’t concern me. However, I will say the later into the month the reset happens the better this time around for me. Start on the 27th and Im fine with it. I need to adult and focus on work so the more time I have for that will make it easier to make some time to start a new season again. Bottom line though it doesn’t matter what I or anyone else says on here, because Blizz will decide in the end and they don’t care what a few forum posters want on here. I doubt the majority of the posts are even read by anyone important to be honest.

Should they respect every release and every seasonstart of every game? lmao, you guys are hillarious xD
For a company it’s always best to drag people from other companies. Learn how the world works boi. Why would anyone care about what else you play besides D2.

This kind of reasoning only works if you have the most popular game of the bunch (or at least you’re a close top dog).
Considering the sad state of D2R they should definitely try to avoid overlap with more popular stuff as much as possible.

Not when it can directly impact how many people are playing their game. For instance games that has microtransactions it will lower their overall profit If there’s reset clashes pulling potential sales away.

I don’t know in what way they would profit to PLAN something like this lol, ESPECIALLY in that state. Also why would they care. If you respect all that “more popular” stuff, then you can never start any seasons.
It’s basically about YOU.
There 2 seasons, and you don’t miss both, can’t decide what to play.
Then there is another person who want PoE to change their date, or whatever game.

Well, good we don’t like in Africa, we could have so much less and less important problems in our life…
Go cry somewhere else.
And don’t forget to klick on “DONE” when leaving PH in tears.

It’s common sense to space out reset dates. More player retention equates to higher profits. No offence, but it’s not rocket science.

There’s plenty of time to space out all games and their economy resets.

Oh they care, believe it! When these games have microtransactions that they push it is profits, makes zero sense to jeopardize potential earnings when resets occur, especially when there’s new content available.

Not really, only the major ones (Diablo games, PoE 1 and 2 and Last Epoch) , since they’re basically sabotaging themselves by doing the reset at the same time. A lot of people play multiple ARPGs so if the reset happens on the same day they’re forced to choose. It’s not a big problem, true, we can always just pick one game and play it (and chances are, anyone who isn’t a full diehard ‘diablo 2 or bust’ player is probably gonna pick the game that actually has new content dropping), but ARPG is a niche genre and things are a lot nicer when the few games that exist in the genre respect each other’s space, allowing players to experience more of them.

It’s also standard practice in the game’s industry at general to consider what the rest of the market is doing to plan their schedule. Games often delay their releases so they don’t launch at the same time as some massive game that would obfuscate them, for example.

Any news of a new runeword for season 11? or may be an Act 6 for Season 11 ?

99.98% sure there will be no new runwords and absolutely positively 100% sure there will be no act 6 for season 11.

An extra act would be along the lines of a paid expansion. (New art, new coding, new features, voice actors, new cinematics, etc, all costs money) Don’t expect them to drop something like that for free… lol

act 6?
lol
its d2 resurrected, its meant to be the exact same as d2, with very little changes, even with terror zones and new runewords and 1 or 2 other new things, they have probably reached their limit of changes for a game thats meant to be the same.

once you start adding loads of new content, it may aswell not be known as d2 , but maybe more like d5 lol

There are 100 different ways to play Diablo 2 and every season is an opportunity to try a new way. Its also a chance to enjoy a fresh start with loads of other players which is a very rare opportunity indeed! Peak gaming as it is. There is no need to add anything major to the game.

Diablo 3 season start is the 6th so that wont happen.
Sucks but looks like there are enough decent games out there now that will eventually clash

Doesn’t makes sense, people not just play ARPG’s.
There other games that has “seasons”.
There so many games meanwhile. If each of them respect the times of a ladderstart, nobody would start a ladder lol.
Even then, D2 is the last one they would care about.

That’s very bad gaming tastes
Good for you that you redeem yourself with D2

Don’t they give like a week’s notice usually?
