Nah it’s not that difficult to schedule your ladder reset not to conflict with the biggest game in the genre.
There are in fact people who play multiple ARPGs. I know several people who hop between LE, PoE, PD2 and D2R.
never doubted that, it just, not everybody only plays arpgs. besides arpgs there other games that have seasonal content.

Because D2 isn’t in straight competition of interest with every game that has seasons but it is most definitely in straight competition with PoE. D3 and PoE back in the day used to avoid such overlaps as sort of an unwritten gentleman’s agreement between the two companies and it’s a shame that behavior no longer happens. In fact, it’s very common in the game’s industry in general when you know your demographic has an interest in the other game. Example.: FF14 delayed it’s expansion launch so people could play the Elden Ring DLC that was about to drop.
Like I said, it’s not a life-changing issue, that doesn’t mean it is a poor scheduling choice.

Why would blizz care bout that? PoE should take care instead to don’t overlap the seasons lol, but they don’t seem to care about that neither. D2 doesn’t have any competition regarding this, they don’t give a 
about how many people play their game.
People will always play and bots will always sell.

I don’t care about the exact day of the reset, however I do care about the duration of the ladder. Sometimes you cannot play as much as you would have liked and then all of a sudden, they tell you after 3 months “we’re going to reset the thing”… when you have been expecting 3 ladders a year, which should be around 4 months not 3.
That p*ssed me of multiple times in the past. Remember: there ARE people playing the game, who have work, family and other things to do besides PLAYING GAMES.

If your playtime is limited and you’re not chasing top spots on the leaderboards, why play ladder? Sure, there are the handful of runewords that can only be created on ladder, but there’s plenty of them on non-ladder for trade. Even if you do play ladder, the character converts to non-ladder where you can continue playing. There’s also the local single player option where there are no runeword restrictions.

I’m one of those people too, but I don’t think the majority of people need to wait on me because I don’t have the same time they do.
Non ladder is there for us, and if we aren’t making the most of the start of ladder or trying to compete in the ladder then I may as well be on non ladder and not deal with the seasonal time restraints. The game dies off fast after the first couple of weeks and a month in is even worse. So why do you need to play the ladder?

Simple: because the way I play D2R only works in LADDER…
Well I suppose the only thing that can be done would be for you to set aside more time for the game… That is if the game is important enough to you. As far as the ladder reset times, it’s going to be weighted towards the larger part of the player bases demands. Those that play more are going to “finish” faster, and they are going to want the ladder reset more often than those that don’t have a lot of time to play.

Blizzard overlaps releases with their own games almost 100% of the time. What makes you think they can plan out releases around other people’s games
Don’t matter will be running 20 x bots before day 1 is over. Im small compared to some who run 50 x or 100 x
Whats the point in playing the game if you’re going to cheat?
You know Blizzard has a blind eye on the game when people freely admit they cheat on their own forums.
I don’t post much but as I can see many of people are tryhards to spam,etc. True Blizzard don’t give anything despite the people are trying to play D2R. That is why you have alternatives I will not mention them so I dont get as usual “offending the blizz people”.

If the ladder reset happens. How will they merge the stash of non ladder and ladder chars?
The ladder shared tabs will be extra tabs that are remove-only.
