Dude can’t even make up his mind, he claims all this bs about d2jsp yet he had an account, such hypocrisy…the mental gymnastics this guy goes through is unbelievable…and I’m sure this comment will elicit some stupid reason from him.
This again? Like the truth changes when you dont say it or something?? What do you not understand
Ill exploit them to do trades as i see fit. I dont use forum gold lol
So you started playing D2 4 years after the last diehards moved on to WoW. You must be a real pro.
(Newsflash: the game released in 2000/2001)
Ya I didn’t start when the game first relaesed, so in your mind my 15 years of experience doesn’t mean anything? What is your point here and how does it relate to the topic.
absolutely bots have killed once and for all, they run hard and fast for the frist week to trade perfect items with each other, if your new to the game forget d2jsp its utter trash.
this has all been done intentionally to push everyone back towards the even worse game d4. Blizzard really should just sell the rights to the game at this point…
Huh this was the same state of the game during the 2000s… Botting was even more rampant back then thanks to numerous free bots with full capabilities one could easily download off blizzhackers site, easier to multibox and we had rampant duping to also combat with.
If you’re relying on randoms you find in a lobby, you are sorely behind the times. Every serious player is in multiple discord servers dedicated to d2r… very easy to find legitimate peope to play with, instead everyone wants to cry that blizz doesn’t have the developments funds to add such functionality to the game.
look game lobby
look game list
bot bot bot bot bot bot bot bot bot bot
this noobs today didnt played d2 in all of life
Game dies in 2 weeks since they added TZs. Its a testament to what ive been screaming in d4. Once you hot max level, theres nothing to achieve no matter how you try to spin it. Farming gear so you can endlessly farm more gear is not something people want to chase. That model has never worked. It kills every game it touches. The easier it is to get there, the faster you will see the games economy and player base dwindle. Faster xp ie never ever ever ever good. Nor is overpowered characters. Both cause the same thing in different ways. Games that are not challenging will NEVER maintain a player base for very long. Thats just how it is.
So next time you ask for changes, or steonger abilities or more exp or better loot etc, remember THIS. THIS…is the by-product of all those things.
And also on that note, if you want an economy to last longer, protest blizzard and dont give them another dime anywhere until they start banning bots REGULARLY. There is literally no reason other than greed to do a ban wave once a season at the very end of the season. All thats doing is forcing botters to repurchase the game for their bots, so they can openly wreck the economy of legitimate gamers. Until you and everyone else refuses to give their company money for this garbage behavior, they will keep doing it.
No more buffs. Nerfs or leave it alone.
Re evaluate TZ exp to be exactly in line with other methods (baal, chaos, etc), wo that theres an option, not a 1 model explosive xp method.
No more non punishment for brazen botting
No more idle stance on naming and shaming
No more soft punishments - if you are caught cheating, make their lives living hell to get back in.
Yeah, that’s really going to work.
First of all, they largely ignore this community anyway.
Second, the legitimate player base is small. Of that player base I’m willing to bet a sizeable portion that play this game regularly aren’t big spenders anyway.
Third, it’d be a drain on their financial and manpower resources to keep botters in check. They’ve already tried. (and failed)
In short, Blizzard doesn’t care.
I understand what youre saying but that doesnt make your stance right. They do ignore us. Here…but i play d4 and i dont buy things there because of how theyve treated games lately. I used to buy things in wow all the time. Now i dont even give them the sub.
Having your negative attitude towards taking a correct stance is why others dont do it too. Imagine if everyone who felt that way just actually did it…
You have to keep in mind that Blizzard is a publicly traded company… What’s good for the company is good for the shareholder. And bleeding red ink on botters isn’t good for the company or the shareholder.
Believe me, I was also once a big dreamer about Blizzard stomping botting scum into the floor. But once I became more familiar with how businesses work, I understood more of what was going on. So now, I just play solo, I don’t have to worry about bots, I am my own economy. If I want an item I don’t have, I stomp monster heads to find them.
No, it has 250 people looking to sell their stuff to you. Nobody trades anymore on jsp. Once in a blue moon youll see someone actually LFT.
Theres almost 0 iso posts anymore already. Its almost all selling and shops. Bots.
This is why you should play “pseudo ssf”
How does pseudo SSF work on bnet?
Don’t trade with people. You can play with them if you want a little. Level in a baal run, but otherwise find most of your gear yourself.
Its far more satisfying than trading in an over inflated bot filled market.
Good amount of ISO’s still on the front page right now. Not going to baby sit but there were over 15. On top of that in this game of trading it is far more common to attempt to sell than to buy. Even if you were in game trading, you’d be trying to sell off everything for runes, then using those runes to buy what you actually need. Sometimes it is a 1:1 scenario, but usually you’re collecting runes in some sort of bulk to either trade for something of higher value OR make a runeword that takes multiple runes.
Now you are right that it does have botters and resellers on the website. But the vast majority of users are normal players, no different than the ratio on traderie. AND none of that has anything to do with what I said, there are indeed still 250+ people looking to trade with you.
When you let people who fixate on self deprecation control the game and ideas the game will die because they dont feel good enough about themselves to enjoy the game
Think this game would really come back to life if simple QoL changes were brought in like, gem/rune/key/essence stacking, updating some of the t87 uniques as well as some other ones to compete with runewords, nerfing spirit and adding a separate charm bag that takes up maybe 2x2 space like the cube or 1x1 like tomes, you’d right click it to open it and see all your charms.
selling an item with forum gold isnt trading, no matter what you whales think.
Bots and Forum Gold killed this game. Period.
