What is the drop rate of d2r? I make 600 runs on travincal hell and nothing only blue items. I don’t think this is normally for begin.

Yup. Start upping your MF and you’ll see better quality loot. This isn’t D3.

Loot system is perfect in D2. It barely can be any better. Very satisfying.

You can do #50,000 runs and not find the best gear. It is diablo 2. I love not beating the game on day 5.

I never played d3 only d2 from 2001 to 2011 and I remember well that in travincal for 600 runs I got minimum 1 shako or soj/bul without any mf.

Trav runs is for gold find chars.
Gear up for Andy and Meph runs on He’ll.
If you are not a sorc, find a teleport staff (google how) and add Pindle, shenk, eldrich to your routine.

The droprate on d2 was really low, maybe you used to play with /players7 command?
Or you were just lucky.
I’m almost 200mf and the highest value thing I got was like 1 aldur’s and 1 trang in like 700 pindle runs

this is how the game is, he have the most ridiculously low drop rate on any hack and slash
this is why we love D2

Devs: Guys this rando on the forum remembers the drop rates being different 15 years ago. I think we need to double check the files which we copied from the game he’s remembering to see if they’re correct. Lets put our best people on this go go go!

The only hostility regarding D2 that i have noticed is coming from D3 kiddies that want D2 to be easier. Really man. Purists are having tons of fun, i swear!

Are we expected to play the game like utter nolifes for weeks on end to ‘maybe’ find something? The effort vs reward is way off in this game. It’s why everyone just botted on the original.

Drop rates in D2 are fine as they are. Yeah they’re going to suck single player killing slowly with 0% magic find.
Boost your magic find.
As you acquire gear, you’ll kill faster.
When you’re able easily kill things, have friends join your game, split up and clear!
Drop rates are fine. Trav really isn’t the best spot unless you have a ton of mf, and at that point there’s better spots than trav. Trav is good for the occational mid-hr.

Honestly, I was feeling it was actually high. Still in NM myself and running around with a bit over 100 Mf on the zon and finding decent stuff for NM . Not to mention the rune drops seem ro to be higher than I remember getting. A lem or Ko + a run on average.
