I can create a new character now, but there’s nothing in my shared stashes and my old character is still MIA

Yeah… This is happening to many many people. a “few” are getting their chars back but most have to just live with the char is gone… I lost my items and sought out some kind of compensation only to learn what’s gone is gone.
