You all dont like the idea of 5-7 Ravens (o-skill) on Blood Ravens? If not, I also like it as you propose!

Eaglehorn is nice as well. Still would like to discuss to roll 1-2 OS.

Que-Hegan was the great Patriarch of Zakarum. It´s should be a caster armor with some melee inspirations. It´s competes with the Vipermagie ihmo. How about enhance the mana-theme abit?

That would avoid being a 1to1 competition zu the Vipermagie (less @res and fcr) and would make it more apealing for Druids, Necros and maybe Paladins. Requirements are in the right spot imho.

What do you thing about those sugestions?

Me too, the developers should make these three armors feel distinct from one another while getting excited when they finally drop.

Oskills increase the variances a lot. Although I love the idea of Warmth on QH (thats means it could be between +3 and +23). Increase Mana after kill make it more consistant and is maybe easier for the devs and the balance teams to implement. And I guess you need at least some res with an umed QH to compete. Magic resist doesn help you really imho.

But maybe the other dudes have an opinion on that? Anything is better then the current state, no matter what :slight_smile:

What about Biggin’s Bonnet and Bloodfist beeing fine as they are?

Would really love, it the devs would catch up on some ideas (maybe a class of itemen of the time). And maybe they have 2-3 variants of improvements and the community could vote for it :crossed_fingers:

I’m curious what other people think. I agree that MPK would be more consistent than warmth as o-skill on Que-Hegan’s Wisdom. What if we added fire/cold resist in addition to magic resist, that way it can be more useful? Here is an alternate take on the mage plate…

Hm…that would still be not enough ihmo… Cant think of a build where this would be the obvious choice. Would in 99/100 go with a Vipermagie or something else…

I´ll come back to my proposal. This would eliminate any mana issues for casters (so no need for an insight merc > more diversity with builds). Would have some safety features (mdr and dr and little res). Viper is 10fcr and a lot of @res ahead (both umed). But QH would be then for casters with somethimes close combat.

Searched the thread and didn’t find it. I LOVE Guardian Angel, and actually use it on Sorcs. Such a great piece really for anyone, nice increase to block and recovery, max resists are beautiful. I’ve always thought it was odd it was a +1 to paladin skills armor.

I propose changing Guardian Angel:
+1 to All skills

I didn’t want to suggest anything further for that specific piece. Though, not entirely opposed, just don’t want to go overboard.

Was thinking about GA as well. But that’s the point. If you want to benefit from one thing (massive max res) you’ve to sacrifice other things (+skills). We should avoid creating new meta BIS variants (like enigma; would nerf that btw :slight_smile: ) .

And Guardian Angel is already used frequently, even attached to a clear paladin focussed theme. so would buff this one only slightly, if at all. Others (Templars/Tyraels etc) are NEVER used.

How about adding 15@res to GA to make it more viable for mercs?

hope you all have some good holidays with the family (if you celebrate X-mas)!

I just found this boy (one of my grail, with +3 Skills, 2 OS and 17 LAED) and was thinking about if it is already viable. I guess theres is not missing a lot to be viable.

Current proposal in OP ist this:

I like the Sanctuary Aura and the increase DvsD. The increase shrine duration sounds nice but would be a new mechanic and even if implemented not a big deal.

I would also increase light radius from 3-5 and maybe lower the lvl req. form 61 to 5X.

Any suggestions? Its a clear paladin weapon so adding something like 1 FOH as O-Skill doesnt fit imho. Is IAS enough?

Any thoughts?

Generally, I do like the idea of lowering the level requirement, how about from 61 to 56? Also, I was thinking increasing the range of open sockets on Heaven’s Light from 1-2 to 1-3 would be good. What do you think?

we still have no idea when s3 launches am i rite?

I´ve a lvl 83 Zeal/FOH pala and slammed two jewels into this baby (FHR, 11 max dmg, +80 AR, and dmg/ar vs undead 80/50, +7 dex - so, nothing too crazy). With might lvl 9 and and Faith A1 merc (lvl 13 fana) it feels a little bit less effective then my upped Headstriker (with an 1-81 lightning damage, -15% req., 6 strg and mf jewel inside) what I used for my playthrough.

I felt, that hitting stuff was a bit worse then with the heastriker (what makes no sense :slight_smile: ), and dura ist terrible imho, but overall, I guess with your proposed changes that thing it will be well balanced and usefull (but not BIS). Tried to compare two CS-runs and and two mephi runs (completely unscientific :slight_smile: ).

The upped headstriker is lvl 61. So I guess that should be ok for the scepter as well. And it is still crazy how slow melee is compared FOH/magic dmg. They should increas magic immunity imho…

Love that! With an Um rune and +2 Skills it would be a real alternativ to spirit, due to the significant lower strg requirement imho. So not BIS but viable for more builds and the a3 merc (if they hopefully buff those dudes a good bit further).

I like the 1-2 and 20-30% rolls a lot. Lidless Wall is a very nostalgic item, and the name and art is a major part of it. The ability to roll a perfect one would make magic finding much more exciting, especially when finding lower treasure class items like this.

I think all changes are ok. But I´m not sure if I like in general the idea of having access to too many O-Skills on every class. Think that there should be more specific items then o-skill items.

For e.g. I love Bloodletters, they are already S-tier. But not sure if a pally should have access to all of these skills? So not sure. Would rather improve those for the given class a bit.

Blackbog’s Sharp could get more base dmg by 50-100% and some (100-150) pd on top instead of making all skills > o-skills.

How many o-skill items are in the game right now and how many do we have already on “our list”?
