One problem I have with this game, as a casual, I have no idea what the difference between a Demon or Undead, etc. I think they should have really distinguished between the monsters and made them more unique.
For example, undead monsters could all have open wounds, demons should have crushing blow (random example).
If the monsters were actually threatening to the point of you wanting to know what kind of damage they deal, then
does XYZ damage to Demons/Undead
would actually have a lot of meaning in this game.
From what I’ve quickly read online, it seems like these monster types do absolutely nothing? It seems as if Blizzard North never embellished on this idea.
Charm inventory, instanced loot, quivers (runewords unique rare magic white), more terror zones one per act, rare charms that always roll 3-5 stats! More shared spaces, buff mercs, not act 2 give the others auras that actually don’t suck and buff melee across the board like entirely you buffed cold Sorc wity sunder lol

Yeah those are good changes. Lower level uniques should have included more O-skills. It really helps make them stand out and adds more excitement upon seeing any unique drop.

A caster is unlikely to use a two-handed axe. I’d suggest 100% Chance to Cast Level 3 Frost Nova on Striking as more useful. You can’t level it up to a decent damage from Frost Nova, but you do still get the chilling effect.
I’d suggest Hit Blinds Target as flavorful and semi-useful to a low level bow user.
A bonus to Find Item seemed very fitting to me on the Crown of Thieves…

That would definitely be a cool low level unique that makes it stand out. I didn’t mind the +1 skill so players would choose when to use it, but this works as well, if not better.

I agree. I’d also give it +1 Zeal, I’d prefer that to increasing the damage. The flavor is all about bullet time, and Zeal makes that feel a lot more real. I’d like to give it Burst of Speed charges but that’s expansion and this is a classic item.

I am so for buffing uniques. This would be huge for the legacy and history of the game. So many awesome items that cannot be used and it’s truly tragic. Buff the uniques and take out the same Enigma, Hoto and Infinity redundancies every single player uses. This, a stash management upgrade and the ability to see other players gear (kinda like D3 but not as detailed so PVP can remain competitive ofc). Let’s go!!
