Cold F.cking Immune Mobs

Can you please remove or nerf cold immune mobs?
THEY ARE ANNOYING! We can’t able to reset skils whenever we face these ‘‘COLD F.KING IMMUNE’’ mobs.
If you realize that 90% of complaints are belong to ''COLD IMMUNE ‘’ …
Thanks.

Let me copy-paste my comment from another thread:

"I am right now doing a generic sorc build and it certainly can kill anything, including bosses. At lvl82 my points are something like:
Cold tree:
20 pts FOrb
~13pts CMastery

Fire tree:
15+ pts Firewall (this is what I am putting on more pts at lvl up).
1pt Warmth
1pt Fmastery

Lightning:
20 pts Lightning
~13 pts Chain Lit
1 pt LMastery

Main weapon for cold: blue wand with +3Cold skills +3FOrb +29 life.
Off weapon for fire: spirit + splendor.
Armor: Vipermagi.
Helm: +2 soso skill tiara.
Amu: +2 cold skills, 9%fcr.
Gloves: +1 fire skills unique.

So, nothing too crazy (except the blue wand, I think that’s godly) and hell Diablo yesterday when I helped my friend to get to act 5 was something like 10 seconds (bosses dont like firewall under their butts  ).

Altogether this build is of course slower than specialist sosos, however it can kill everything. Cold+fire immunes are handled by the merc + my lightning. The rest are quite easy with either the FOrb or the FWall."

how about not building a 1 element sorc…

Blizz/Lightning sorc:

Max Chainlightning. Max Blizzard. Max Lightning Mastery. Put points in Cold Mastery and Lightning. 17 cold mastery after skill+ is fine.

Cast Blizz, cast 2 or 3 lightning, cast another Blizz. Use chainlightning on crowds and lightning single traget.

With a good merc you have 3 different damage sources and rock everything.

My solution below but TL;DR:

  • Respec. into “Meteorb” build found on Icy-Veins.
  • Learn to swap between Frozen Orb, Fireball, and Meteor. It actually gets a lot easier once you master this.
  • Gear up your merc to handle all other immunites.
  • Learn to babysit your merc and port out of situations and heal them up.

How is maxed hydra/mastery as a standalone option to cold immune mobs? Is that going to be enough damage to drop a few and kite? I’m not expecting amazing damage or anything, just a solution that doesn’t take forever to clear a room like lightning does.

Wouldn’t mind hearing some thoughts about firewall while using controller as well. Can it be used effectively with a controller as your stand alone option to cold immune?

Stop ruining the game for the rest, I dont want D2 become D3. There have many builds.

I’m playing with Blizz Sors, but I dont cry like 5 grade kid.

Put enough points on Cold Mastery for -150% Enemy Cold Resist.
Use Infinity runeword if want.
If you want game without immune mobs, go play D3.
