I’m still having this issue after just installing, and then restarting. Same error over and over on both non-HC and HC (my internet is on): “An issue occurred while communicating with the game servers. Please check that you are connected to the internet and try again.”
I am still getting the message that states You have not logged in for the past 30 days. It has not changed even when I have attempted to change the region. This has been the same since the game launched.
still not fixed, cant create games, keeps telling me to check my connection. i can change regins and make a game but the game crashes as soon as i use the teleport to another zone i get stuck in a loading screen and the game crashes.
We’ve paid money for this. Why can’t we play Our game?

Same. This is crazy a 20 year old game with two Beta’s and a month after last beta to get read. Where do I get a refund at?
Hi all,
I had exactly the same issue, impossible to create any game but I found the solution.
This is coming from the Windows Firewall.
Go to Window Security → Firewall & Network protection → Allow an app through firewall.
Once in “Allow an app through firewall”, select “Change settings” then click on “Allow another app”.
This will open a new menu, click on Browse and look for the D2R.exe file should be in “C:\Program Files (x86)\Diablo II Resurrected”, then click on “Add”.
Diablo 2 R will show in the list of “Allowed app and features”, make sure that Public and Private options are ticked and click on Ok.
You should now be able to create a game.
That’s what I did and now I can play the game properly.

Allowing thru firewall worked for me. Odd that I did not have to perform this step until over a week after launch, but solved is solved.
Hi - why does the game keep crashing just after you hear the voice say “hello” - but the screen still has the loading door picture.
My computer fits the minimum requirements.
