But still forced to raid pub games and listen to them whine about it. What’s the justification for no /players command again? TCP/IP is gone, you promised to keep it and then deleted it anyways remember? So bring /players to bnet.
Because GET OFF MY LAWN… seriously though there isn’t any justification. None that I have read that makes any kind of sense anyway.
Tell me, exactly why do you need /players, dont skip any reasons.
- More Challenge
- More Reward
- No more squealing from pubs
So give me one reason why not? I’ve noticed objections come from one of three groups:
- RMT / Botter who stand to lose value if solo players have access
- Streamers / LookAtMes who require a ‘community’ to worship/carry and player count is bait along with ‘give aways’ and ‘events’
- Jealous / Bitter noobs who cut their nose to spite their face, same group whining that MFers are in their game
Play a class that is not OP or A / S -tier. Problem solved, you are welcome.
- Choosing worst option on purpose is not the same as challenge
- Not more rewarding
- Pubs still squeal
0 / 3, thanks for trying though.
yes, /players x should come to bnet 100%
It will never cease to amaze me the length at which anti-social gamers will go to, in order to avoid making friends.
They can’t even get the chat lobby working or dupes to cease, let alone bots. You think they give two poops about your inability to socialize online?
They don’t.
/players x is already a part of the game… In local single player. It’s not for battle.net for the nth time.
Flaming people by calling them anti-social is against the forum rules. Furthermore, who cares if they are anti-social? Finally, the randos on the internet you are using to boost your MF games are not real friends.
Tangent topic to P8. Your insults about socialization are irrelevant and against forum rules. You don’t know me. I have REAL friends in REAL life, and I have in game “friends” that I play with. They aren’t on 24/7 (like multibox or bots are), so raiding pubs happens. /players is needed. Typical end-user should not face social engineering challenge or paywall for basic features. If you can’t give a valid justification for removing /players command then go back to your multi-box instead of continuing here.
Keep fighting the good fight. You are absolutely wasting your time and now so am I. Of course this is where I stop.
If difficulty is truly what these people asking for /players X on bnet are after, (which we all know that is just a cover story for the true hidden agenda) it’s easy enough to simulate. Just strip some of that OP gear off for some junk gear…
Presto, more difficulty.
That would be sufficient if they hadn’t lied about TCP/IP and removed it. Now it’s needed on bnet. Give a single justification why it shouldn’t be re-added to multiplayer, instead of just spamming to be a troll.
#2. No hidden agenda. Try holding off on your typical blatant trolling before reading.
Uh, hello? You think items dropping in value is bad now? It’d be 8 times worse if bots were able to all do their runs with /players 8 .
And what do you mean re-added? /players X has never been part of multiplayer on battle.net.
Anyone who disagrees with you even if being civil is a troll in your opinion.
Uh huh, riiiiiight.
But you can already have /players x on bnet by paying for more accounts. What’s being asked for is a free and streamlined way to do it. Arguing against it is arguing in favor of P2W.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again… Lock the nodrop% to /players 3 equivalent regardless of how many are in the game or in a party, and I’d have no issues with /players X coming to battle.net. It’d also solve the multi accounters drop advantage over those with a single account.
But we all know that isn’t going to happen. They can’t even move Cain next to the stash in act 5 for crying out loud.
Last I checked botting is cheating and a bannable offense. So by your logic on top of bots taking a dump on the ladder AND enjoying 24/7 p8 on command, they should also be justification for paywalling a basic feature. Troll.
I mean what I said, re-added to multiplayer. Before release they told consumers that TCP/IP would remain, where you could use the players command. Now that they have scammed us and deleted the multiplayer mode with /players command they should make amends by adding it to bottle-net
No, just blatant trolls like you who pretend they get to say what my opinion is.

Didn’t take you long to do a full 180. I suppose that’s typical for low-energy trolls.
Take a good look in the mirror, the only troll here is you.
Back on the list you go, permanently.
Well that much is true, for sure.
Maybe try playing something other than the META all the time. It may seem like a weird advice at first, but it is 100% true. There you get your real challenge.
Like, what do you /p8 guys want ? This is more than 20 years old game and you keep playing the same few OP META builds again and again to prove something to others or what ? If you want to ‘show up’ or something with your meta build just record a video on youtube how you speedrun at /p8 in single player or how you do some other challenge, so you can get your so desired recognition for playing a video game.
You keep talking about some challenge, but the only thing you seem to want is to make your OP builds more effective because it losses efficiency at low /players. To get even more edge over those who actually play the more challenging builds.
The real challenge is in non meta builds, hardcore or PvP. Or anything you make up yourself and put it on video so you can ‘show up’.
TL,DR- if you want challenge you can make it yourself. If you want recognition, record a video of it. Grinding /p8 with meta build is NOT a challenge.
