The whole issue around JSP’s forum gold, botting, and RMT is why I just play self-found. Too much BS swirling around that makes it stupid-easy to get that GG gear. It’s why I’d like it if there was a SSF league.

Bots doesnt need much. Like how do you think they level up or equip bot farm of 100 bots? Do you think they waste time aquaring gear for all of them on jsp? 
That would be silly. Blizzard sorc can farm pindle naked.
Everyone on jsp would be affected by shuting down jsp, because of loss previously farmed currency. That has nothing to do with botters especially. And again, bot doesnt need much. Can farm even naked at start. Individual botters will get equip on first playthrough anyway, you make easily spirit and insight , topaz help/ armor and you are good to go.

This is difficult, much more than just selling the item foe currency
the gear for the bots doesn’t matter. They need the extra stock from jsp. What makes you think large scale botters wouldn’t exploit jsp by using FG to sell items for real money?
because there’s no reason to bot all season long when jsp is gone? Because their affect on the market just auto-disappears every season naturally?

I do get a little jealous, but at the same time - I love the first weekend chaos sanctuary carries by those who have invested the time and energy into obtaining the currency to get the gear quickly I did use to care way more, but it was just envy i think
If bot gear doesnt matter and you agree with that, for what else would people behind bot farm want to have FG? Its useless, imaginatory currency. They want money. You cant sell FG for real money, you can only buy it. Selling items on jsp would be incredibly dumb when you can sell it for real money instead with safe transfer.

I’ve know some fairly high-rolling users and their method is quite simple - though nothing like that is ever truly “safe” as a complaint cannot be filed since it’s breaking the rules.

There are many kinds of items that you’re not going to commonly find on pindle, but that’s not my point. Even with a 100 bots, they aren’t going to find perfect versions of every item, every charm, etc. especially early in the season. If they are already botting, it would be stupid not to use that resource.

Sure but its not allowed by jsp so you risk losing your fg. And many did. People who have bot farms sell stuff directly for $ on item selling sites, not jsp.

Your use of “Can’t” was a little too inflexible - More like: Can’t “legally”(per site rules - and possibly also per laws that were passed around the time D3 abruptly removed their RMAH and shifted to BOA).

Tried the site in '06 and was locked trying to sell a 15/15 3os AP I found in throne - reason: “That’s a duped item” - when in that long long Season 15/10’s were the dupes that everyone had.
AND that was the literal ERA of Mass Duping when so many were doing it. Sell a Jah or Ber or 20x 40x etc… totally “Legit”… pfft.
Moral: I was locked but given this response to my plea
- “You can DONATE $$$ to have Your Account Unlocked.”
100% scam. Never went back.
*edit - Small sample size… BUT from my observations and having 5 - yes FIVE very close friends in-game at the time ALL be locked upon their first trade attempts - ALL being given the same “Donate to have FG access and account unlocked” …
That was nothing but a predatory practice targeting new users. I’m sure it’s changed but boy was it the old west in those early days.

Not as bad as twitch does.
I only play classic. Normal in game trading does not exist anymore in classic. JSP is all you have. So it’s either I use JSP or my characters are entirely self found. I have never paid a penny for FG. All my FG is from trades. In terms of it supporting botting though, RMT would exist with or without JSP. If you shutdown JSP, something else would emerge. The best course of action is to stop the bots, not complain about JSP.

I doubt he does. If you buy from a grocery store and that grocery store pays taxes and those taxes are spent to create bombs and bullets you aren’t responsible for some guy using them to commit war crimes. In the same way that using a website doesn’t make you culpable for people on that site breaking ToS with bots. OP needs to go outside.
A correlation does not necessitate a moral conundrum.
You do not need to use Real money, You can make a character get to what ever level you want, you can go to the Service page, charge someone who is lazy = usually me, 5fg - 10fg for a normal a1-a5 rush. there you go 5-10fg without using real money
you can sell your Socket quest usually called hole puncher on jsp, that can get you anywhere from 5-25fg depending on how far along the season is. make 4-5 characters get to act5 normal wow thats anywhere from 25-100fg you just made and that can be done in 1 day, still did not use any real money. Do they have an option to use real money to get fg yes, but not needed.
another simple way, Sell Diablo gold, gamblers will pay 5-10fg for 2m gold. or sell pgems,

I have never used real money to get FG, i have used simple steps as above, until there is a better option i dont see why i would stop using it…
Stopping bots has to be a priority regardless of circumstances.
If they want to get rid of jsp in the sense that the majority of players won’t use it, they have to provide a better trading option in game, otherwise, people will follow the path of least resistance.
Outside of the people that have the time and enjoy trading, most of us want to just put something for trade in like a minute or two and forget about it until the trade is done, and jsp does that pretty well.
I’d be happy if they make in-game automatic trading possible. All players will benefit from that (no money involved)
