I think it’s pretty clear that he slipped up and let the cat out of the bag, but I really hope he doesn’t get in any trouble for it 
. MrLlama seems like a really great guy and I just hope Blizzard doesn’t avoid collaborating with him in the future because of this.

They’re saying he leaked something in his streams by his pauses in his streams when answering some questions. He did not. All people are doing is trying to infer something when there’s no confirmation.
People will do anything to make a video and be popular on YouTube. I prefer to stick to forum warrior status

I’d rather believe it’s a slip up and be pleasantly surprised later, and keep MrLlamaSC collabing with Blizzard, than to go crazy thinking there is an Act VI being upset when there isn’t, and getting MrLlama suspended from his liason position.
He said standard of heros would be useful when act 6 comes out

There’s nothing really stopping Bliz from adding content to the game, other than the classic mode switch, which they could probably easily disable if there was an Act6. In any case until Bliz officially announces it (either themselves or thru one of their mouth pieces) speculating while it may be fun, is probably counter productive. I’d rather Bliz focus on serious threads regarding changes, suggestions (that make sense), and fixes to the game that make the most sense.
New content if it ever comes, can come later. Ladder clearly is a big driver to keep people playing so that’s probably next on the list after and/or during 2.4 patch cycle.
I mean, an ACT VI would be great as long as they don’t shoehorn in modern politics in plot (there’s a time and a place outside of Sanctuary). Also, don’t add new items, I’d be happy.

Ah yes, the old “ploot” argument.
They said changes would be coming to D2R, new changes, they didn’t say no ploot.
He is correct, the game currently doesn’t have an act VI. What he did not say is “there will never be an act VI”.
You have to read what they say word for word.

I wouldn’t be surprised if they asked MrLlama to “slip up” just to see how much hype could be generated by the idea, then if it meets some thresholds → take that hype to upper management and see if they can greenlight the idea.
It’s what I would do anyway.

I could say however: “currently there are no plans for Act VI” and this is a phrase blizzard uses a lot of times, but not in this case.
Anyways, if there ever will be an Act VI I do believe they would sell it as DLC and/or it will take at least another year
