I already explained to you that its about comparison. Leap suck compared to war cry in protection you from damage. Thats a fact. If you dont have enough + skills, you wont jump far with leap and that can easily lead to death. Leap got also one nerf 2.4.
If you leap, you always release bolts from le monsters, that hits you, you go into recovery monster break from knockback fastā¦
Leap is amazing skill, mostly for transport on map. But saying how good is it to protrct you is lind of stretch. Some monsters are also resistant to knockback.
No thats nothing, do it on hell with fresh level 70 without good equip good luck
There are also some monsters resistant to stun. Lister is a great example

Yes, to clarify, when i said always hit, I am referring to the ability to block warcry ( not to mention dodge, evade, and reduce dmg with physical reduction) The damage is so small that stunlock was the only thing giving it a chance in pvp. With stunlock gone in pvp, warcry has been relegated to purely a novelty pvm skill that doesnt compare with other attacks ( outside of safety usefullness in hardcore ).
I had a full synergy warcry barb with lvl 48 +/- warcry that was quite fun to play. I played him quite often but since 2.4 I have re-stat him to a cookie-cutter zerker. Keeping in mind that i used this singer barb as a main character pvming for a long while, i can say that the damage buffs were little more than superficial changes. Without the ability to stunlock in pvp the damage for 80 skill points is insufficient, especially when its blocked much of the time.
May I also add that War cry would get a lovely buff under the synergy 2.0 system

you are kidding right ? mine is currently lvl 38 and im not reaching 2 k dmg yet ā¦ take any others skill in the game with so much investment in synergies and lvl 38 and you reach 10 k + on almost anythingā¦ Donāt forget that it is blockable so you lose half your damage quite often, monsters in hell have very high physical resistance, on top of that add a very high mana cost that even with 2 x sojs + bo and insight you can run out of mana in a single pack in travs.
Is it a good skill ? Yes because it can stunā¦ Does it have high damage ? not at all.
Powerfull obviously doesnt mean just about raw dmg. Stun is big part of it. Stunned monster cant do anything.
So a pvp build got nerfed, who cares? Play other builds.
I have an idea, letās delete war cry from the game, then people would have an actual reason to complain about a skill that doesnāt work well. Then we could hear the war cry about war cry all while war crying that the skill was garbage in the first place. (Yell to do damage, or stun). It was a gimmick or HC tool to survive in a pinch, or to help groups in early stages. Itās not a damage skill.

If I could make one change to War Cry it would be to reduce mana cost from 0.75 to 0.60 per level to improve cost-effectiveness.

Nova doesnt have stun, Nova generaly speaking is not doing that much dmg without good equip to render most monsters into FHR. Not to mention immune monsters are not affected at all.
Lightning is the easiest resistance to breakā¦

Singing barbs are just a transition till you can wear grief, anyway. Every combination of skills is not mean to one shot hell or be a PVP god. As a mid game build it is amazing. After that grow up and play something that is viable. Turning a barb into a caster is a farce.

War cry is powerfull with stun already at level 1. You need a lot of stuff to get remotely similar effect with nova.
It needs a slight boost to damage and/or a decrease in cost, and made to not be blocked which is a major flaw in it. Case closed.

Not OP at all. I said slight increase to damage and used the words and/or. It doesnāt have to be both. Warcry Barb is a build I found only to really shine when you start to get good gear and lots of mana. Plus needs GG gear to really shine damage wise. Iām not counting the GG stun it gives which is obviously great. Unlike Hammerdin who can finish hell with random junk on and have little difficulty from start to finish.
