AVX Issues / Game Launches, then Crashes on Older Processors (CPU)

TLDR explanation: It’s a technology that supposedly allows for a smoother player experience in network-dependent games.

hotfixed this AVX limit for older CPUs ! ! ! Now … The whole effin world is looking to see if you fail here AGAIN at a LAUNCH! HOTFIX THIS SMALL ISSUE … NOW!

For me, switch off the entire system requirements UNTIL you are able enough to get a decent copy with nicer graphics on the way that EVERYONE can play! (moder finished it years befor…)

Hurry up … i noticed many many voices that get louder call for a refund… dmnd “new” Blizzard -.-"

I refunded it an hour longer than I should have.
I knew as soon as it said now playing to nothing I should have refunded, sad thing about this is I knew in my gut blizzard were going to ruin this game some how some way, and boy no one was surprised, if this is not sad I don’t know what is.

the streamers playing the game since the launch, making a huuuuge marketing for this piece of sh… game launched by this garbage company… for us “normal people” only remains to wait until tomorrow, or middle of the week, or when the god wants… (sorry for my english)

When i think about how blizzard is handling this, there’s one word always popping up in my mind…and this word is “lynching”

So basically Blizzard is saying anyone with an older PC and probably the fanbase that made Diablo so successful, screw you? Guessing that using this AVX made it easier to develop?

I mean I can play COD with no problem and without being that knowledgeable again I have to believe that COD requires MUCH more resources than D2R would.

Guess after reading back up they aren’t fixing this AVX issue so its refund time… Well I won’t be coming back down the road for it nor will I be buying Diablo 4 whenever it comes out. Lost a loyal one Blizzard!

When I brought the game the description is “PLAY NOW” but we already cannot play almost a week. It is a false labeling of a product. Is it violating any product law/restriction?

Anyone on here have a Ryzen 5600X? Spying up some components to make a new PC (not for this, but in general). Looks a decent CPU.

Is it working on I5-4570 or I5-4670 ?
I can get it cheap

Got refund. I hope you get it too. Game experience ruined since I and many others kept expecting to play over then weekend… then they said Monday, but nothing happened.

At least they are supporting AVX2.

yeah I see it, but is AVX2 enough ? lol
looking for someone who got it and can confirm

I’m not refunding a damn thing. If I can’t play the game now, fine. I have the old-school version of the game and I’ll just play that. It makes no sense to refund the game now only to buy it again later or take on the possibility of not affording to get it again, because life happens.

Guys, there is only 72 hour window to get refund. Get it NOW if game is not working for you. You can always re-purchase when AVX fix is out (and refund again if it doesnt fix).

The last thing you want here is to have paid top dollars for a game that does not work for you and cannot refund.

Why? If you keep that money, then you can afford it. If life happens that make you not be able to afford $50 USD, then maybe you shouldn’t get this game.
