Ok. Did as you guys said. Tried the link for refund, BUT none of my games are eligible for refund…I suppose it’s because I bought the D2R long before launch date.
Now, here is what I ask you… Are you going to keep my money and not let me play the game? Is that what’s going to happen?
I know you probably don’t care about your little old time fans, but that is way too disrespectful way to deal with everyone who believed in your company.

Just do open ticket and demand for refund. Thats what I did.
I try now… Intel SDE… but remain only in my fantasy to work in this way.
I am saying that it’s not true what you mentioned that it’s just a matter or each side’s interpretation of what the minimum specs are. This is because it is black and white what the listed tech specifications are and that they have a statement that it was a unintentional that they added an additional requirement at the last minute. An AVX ready machine is very clearly not in the requirements and only the benchmarks in performance. Saying it was a matter of interpretation form each side only downplays Blizzard’s own mistake in adding that completely unnecessary requirement which wasn’t even listed in the first place.

But if I am not mistaken is AVX specifically requested on Play Station?

Correct. So it’s clearly not a matter of each side having their own interpretation of what the needed specs are. Both Blizzard and the players have similar understanding of what the requirements are. If there ever is a miscommunication, it is clearly among the Blizzard devs and not between the company itself and the player base.

Activision in regards to Blizzard has been a cancer that has and is pushing everything towards ruin. Sorry for the comparison, he did not want to be offensive to anyone, unfortunately it is effective and gives a good idea. Anyone who has known Blizzard from the beginning knows what I’m talking about.

Not sure. Do you have a link for that? If I am not mistaken the AVX issue isn’t a problem in PS4. And even if it was a listed requirement there, it is not a listed requirement in PC.

Such garbage… I opened a support ticket on Thursday and have had it closed twice with crap responses just to clear their gigantic backlog of open tickets I’m sure due to the same issue. Like most the frustration level is in a zone not easily measured.
I’m not a IT or software person. All I keep reading is the possible cause is some AVX issue whatever the hell that is or means I dunno. Anyone able to actually describe and or know what AVX is?

Now what is going on. Tried to play D2, like i did yesterday, now i get “disconnected from the internet” first time i logged on today??? i know this is D2R but no reason to mess with D2 because we make comments
AVX provides new features, new instructions and a new coding scheme. Improve performances at the end.
