And dont tell me it does not meet minimum system requirements… The only thing missing is AVX. And no one needs AVX for anything in a game. Otherwhise the Xeon x5675 runs circles around minimal specs…

Same here. Trying to resolve “Game never launching” issue. Tried everything technical support suggests. Seems to be lack of AVX support. Please fix this.

I dont think it’s bound to AVX. My CPU should support it, yet i’m concerned by the issue !

Thanks Drakuloth for the update !

BUMP - any news??
this should’ve been the main issue so everyone can go on at the same time…

If you’re game crashes right after launch then it isn’t an AVX issue.

If you’re game doesn’t launch at all then it might be AVX

Facing same issue here… any news @support?

I have the same issue. Not related to AVX, my processor supports Intel® SSE4.2, Intel® AVX2.

This is my issue. It launches, then crashes in like 3 seconds. I have a Ryzen 2700 so avx issues shouldn’t affect it supposedly.

Mine still doesn’t even launch… Does exactly what the thread title says. Intel I7 950 typically… Seems most 900’s have the same issue

Interesting !

Depending of how you define “launch”, i’m more like in the first case : a black window shows up for a fraction of second, before i get an “unexpected error”

This is what i have. It is actually launching but crashes, but from what looks like a majority of the people posting here they don’t even have the black window pop up. Just nothing happens.

Pentium G4560 no AVX, same issue game do not start at all, waiting for update :frowning: btw Beta was working fine.

I think most of us aren’t seeing any action whatsoever. Just the change in the battlenet button.
