This is the part that sucks. We won’t even get to level up with our friends because of the exp punishment for level differences.
So it’s either let them rush you all the way to hell, so you can play together, or play solo to level up and enjoy your first time through the game…
The damage is done, this fix needs to be priority number 1, not 3. Despite server issues streamers are already working on their 3rd hell capable characters.

It’s not going to be resolved within the next 3 days. Robb Fergusson commented on Adam Fletcher’s tweet that the AVX issue is very complex and there’s no ETA.
Rob Fletcher’s picture tells me he’s going to a BBQ this weekend, not going to work on backtracing their coding.

please keep in mind that ladder, where most will play, has not started yet, and is supposed to start shortly after launch, and we will all be starting fresh there anyway.

Truthfully, the fix for this should be rather straightforward… you can use the code from Beta to replace the accidental addition of AVX requirements. It shouldn’t be rocket science and shouldn’t be hard to test/QA. I think the problem is they are trying to lump in other fixes that are more complex.

Same issue here across multiple computers. Clicking play effectively does nothing. My computers are well beyond the minimum requirements.
