Yah it is what it is for 4os shields. Maybe try some 3 socket shield runeword and sacrifice the 2 skills 35 fcr.

There should definitely be better incentive, though, to use a Ward or Aegis. Like major def/block% buff.
Huh, how is 29 vita a lot? As I just wrote, you can easily offset with 3-4 20 life SCs… plus this isn’t top tier PvP, PvM and random screwing around to PvP does not require every point into vita…
Eh yeah in PVM it’s really not that important of a loss of health
A fully decked light sorc won’t really notice the loss

I wouldn’t mind seeing Normal/Exceptional tier shields rolling with 4 Sockets. Could have Kite/Dragon, Tower/Pavise and Gothic/Ancient Shield join their Elite base cousins with 4 Sockets. Wouldn’t change things from an aesthetic standpoint but it’d certainly allow for low strength options on the off-hand as a result. You’d just sacrifice base defense and block chance for the opportunity to roll with a 47 Strength Spirit Kite Shield.
I’m guessing you are referring to monarch on casters. Make a change and go with an mb shield instead. Plenty of options such as upped um’ed mosers, sanctuary troll nest/blade barrier, um’ed whitstan’s, rhyme heater, etc. You just need to get fcr elsewhere to meet your breakpoint. Certain characters such as druid and amazon won’t meet the max fcr breakpoint so you would have to go a frame lower in that case.

i think he meant the new staff runeword, Obsession. if i can find one with the right sorc skills on it i’ll make one, just so i can toss out my spirit shield.

Nah it’s all about crescent moon and spirit, nothing out dps it for lightning sorc
