Can someone tell me, if the new runewords are now available on NL?. Since the new season for ladder has begun.
I wanna try this runewords, I did one previous week but the item is still not yet converted to the runeword?

You still can’t CREATE 2.4 runewords in current non-ladder.
When will this be available then? or is it?

I thought it was clear that the runewords would roll back at the end of the ladder. It kind of sucks if they have changed their minds. I am not interested in the ladder and was looking forward to getting access to the new runewords.

When to Use the New D2R 2.4 Ladder Runewords?
When you can use these D2R ladder runewords? These runewords start to be available with the launch of Diablo 2 Resurrected Ladder Season 1 and they are Ladder-only items. This means you will only be able to create these runewords during the first Ladder Season, and not be able to create them in single-player or non-ladder characters until the conclusion of Season 1. After that, you can create them in the non-ladder and single-player game and you still have all runewords that you have created.

Their explanation of “no new runewords with S2 so S1 runewords stay ladder only” makes no sense at all and is absolutely NOT how it was communicated months ago.

Yeah I really expected we see 2.4 runewords when the ladder ends just like what they promised months ago.
I was looking forward to playing again since I thought I could use the new runewords but like what was said here. I aint coming back just yet.
Blizzard really cant keep their promises. Well I aint playing ladder anyway.

Yep, I agree I only play 2 to 3 hrs a week, so I am not interested in the ladder without getting access to the new runewords I will be looking for something else also.

The runewords do work in offline single player. For non ladder online this is the way it has normally been. If you want a ladder only runeword then either plsy ladder or trade with the people who did.

No. They just lied and said they would be available after season 1.
Now they’re saying NL will get them at some point when a new ladder is released that has new runewords. Another lie? Who knows. When will that happen? Who knows.

Well TBH - I am currently playing other games so I can afford not to play D2R.
I was about to play again if the runewords are now working on NL but I wont since I don’t see any reason to go back again.
I dont want to play ladder and I skipped season 1 as well. I don’t feel the need to do so since I got limited time for games.

Yes, that is how it worked but not what they said they would do. It was really clear what they said they would, do but now they are doing something different. If they were going to keep it the same, they should have never moved any of the ladder only runewords . I do not think they were simply trying to keep it the way it use to work.

They are going to be available when a new set of ladder only runewords are introduced.

The Ladder only Runewords did roll over to nl. They never stated that we could make them on nl. This is not new. Remember D2 LoD? Lots of Ladder only items. The only reason they unlocked the Ladder only items for D2R is because Ladder did not launch with the game. These mental gymnastics are kinda funny!
P.S. Gaslighting the devs probably won’t work.

I don’t think they get it . The Ladder is for people who have time to grind the game, If you are at a different stage of life, having to grind a game is less exciting. D2 is the longest continuously played game ever and has a diverse range of gamers motivated to play for many different reasons.

They actually did, but they’re using the semantics of “when the next ladder comes out there will be new runewords and these runewords will be craftable in NL”, which is kind of a bs reason
