[2.4 Patch] Pvp is compromised - Fast Hit Recovery / Stun Issue

please reconsider your current fhr implementation, it is not working out well for dueling, your edge cases are all cases…

pvp trapsin became trap poles with that patch. They cant stun people with mindblast so why bother trying to namelock opponent? They cant telestomp + fireblast because if they do they just get tanked, outdamaged and punished, so why bother chainlocking your foe ?

As a result of that, what was one the most aggressive / intensive gameplay in d2 pvp turned into running / teleporting randomly around your trap field… Its not even that its too weak (this strategy can work for sure), its just that at this point, your gameplay is barely better than an auradin

The feature has glitch in its name! The old stun mechanic is what made Smite so over powered. Hit revovery should be only based on the damage you take, not because of swirlies above your head. Great job at fixing this GLITCH!

What glitch are you talking about lol ?

Smite was a B tier classe in pvp as best before, be serious XD

Oh and btw, smite stun the same regardless of your fhr, and of swirlies

WSG, the topic. Now Zealots have a decent chance vs Smiters.

  1. WSG is removed since the start of D2R
  2. The topic is not about WSG, its about the new antistun mechanic that prevent any form of stunlock (every time you get stun, you gain a immunity window which start after the end of your hit anime recovery, and you cant be stun again during 10 frames, or 5 frame for some specific skills)
  3. I dont think you know what WSG actually was, because a smiter would really rarely use it, especially against a zealer
  4. Smite has no ar check, no block check. Zeal has both. There is no way for a zeal to win that mu if there is not a massive gap of gear lol or if the smite isnt stupid (charging, running around and therefor losing his block / defense)

The above skills and their combos are garbage.

Blizzard has to think about it and patch it… Is it normal to have a patch that just says it’s okay? Is it right to damage (nerf) the value of a skill…

Smite can be blocked by weapon block… WSG is pressing weapon switch key while stunned. You need to go over 2.4 patch notes again. Stun now has deminishing returns when hit by another player aka no more stun lock.

and so? the patch note isnt about wsg at all lol. wsg doesnt exist since d2r
Smite can be blocked by clawblock but thats it. you cant use regular block to block smite

No more stun lock, stop complaining!

The need for a in game glitch has been patched. I bet you want ebug armors too hahaha!

Stunlock is key mechanic to reward aggressive play in pvp. PvP has been much worse since they got removed

Why would you think that ? I’m not even talking about people with particulary good gear, just players that are among the best on their respective classes in pvp.

you are the one trolling here. I have been serious in everything i told you. The most skilled pvpers think this change isnt good for the game, thats a fact

Do you pvp? The only builds the changes negatively effects are ele druids, trap assassins, wc barbs, v/t. If you ask me, it has equilized the playing field. No more cheap shot crutch for you. Git gud.
