I’ll at least give a serious reply. Honestly, while key quantity is essentially a non-issue, keys could easily receive the treatment Arrows/Bolts/Throwing weapons just got, and get a 50-100% increase in quantity. Maybe up to 20, or 24? That would seem reasonable enough, I’m sure no one would complain, not even the dreaded “purists”
But yeah personally I’m quitting D2R because they made gambling so easy now, just being able to refresh the screen with such ease, being able to buy the same item type over and over again too? Back in my day…

well…it takes the spot of one sc so keys could be a little bit more useful/less of a problem.
Well, everyone (besides Assassin, as is their class perk) “loses” that spot of one SC (also supposing someone has all perfect SCs and gear is the only time it would “really matter”), or if you’re doing PvP or something, or don’t care about locked chests, you don’t need the key. It’s a real non-issue, total non-problem. Though idk, maybe you were just playing along in the thread by joking as well, you didn’t really specify. But I know you to be a serious type so I figured you deserved a serious reply.

Interesting idea, the ‘unique key’… it would add something to grind for, I’d say it has to be pretty rare though.
When ladder starts, most of my non-ladder chars/stuff will be deleted, probably all of it. I don’t got time to play them both, and Blizzard is stingy with the Character Slots.
Yeah, up to 160 kilobytes of cloud storage per user for up to 20 characters plus whatever else for the shared stash must be super expensive.
