WoW account locked

I am not sure if this is the right spot to post this question, but my WoW account is locked and can’t submit a ticket because it says I tried verifying who I am too many times for the email code and the security question. And I can’t submit a WoW forum ticket because I don’t have a character over level 10 it says.

I am trying to play classic for the first time and it says my WoW account is locked and I have reset my password and followed the steps to try to fix it, but it is still locked. I do not know why it is locked I have not played WoW since the Wraith of the Lich King expansion. I am looking to get my account unlocked and for me to be able to contact support without it telling me I am denied because I had to many attempts. All other games on my account are unlocked.

Please forward this to the needed people to get this figured out.

Please use this link to put in a ticket, it will allow you to put on in even if you aren’t signed in. I do recommend using the live chat option to get this taken care of with a live agent.

That is what I have been trying to use before, but it is saying i am denied. It states “Due to too many attempts, Email Code has been locked. Please try another method for verification.” but it says it for both the live chat and the email support options. I don’t have any way to contact support about it other than forums. That is why I posted here.

Our support is limited on the forums when it comes to account or billing issues, for security and privacy purposes. As such, it’s not something we can assist with here, but we can help so you’ll be able to reach our team :slight_smile:

Could you try logging out or using a different browser, then click here? Once there, click on “I don’t know my Blizzard Account email” and see if there’s an option to contact our Customer Support directly.

My WoW account is locked and I do not know why. and I can’t get regular support. So I am looking to here for help. Again to reiterate, I cannot go through chat support because it states I tried too many attempts when doing both the security question and email code options. Please help!

Follow up, I couldn’t reply because my post was merged and I was the “last to reply”:

To do the I forgot my email method, it is requiring a government issued ID. I do not feel comfortable handing out my information on my Drivers license, when I do know my log in information. Can anyone contact me via my email address I use for my Blizzard account??? Or can anyone unlock my account so I can message support directly? I just need to get passed the screen where it denies me from moving forward in support. Is there a number I can call??? I would like to get this solved today!

Account details need to be verified through one of the listed methods before customer support can assist with recovering an account. This is to help prevent unauthorized people from trying to gain access.

In this case, I’d suggest selecting the Secret Question verification method option here.
