Unable to install battle net - BLZBNTAGT000008FC

Hey ive tired to install battle net and its stopping at 45% and and throwing me this code, Ive followed the steps with updating security and running the code recommended in to command prompt.

this problem started when world of warcraft didnt want to update and was giving me a different issue since then ive uninstalled wow and battle net (along with any other game I had through battle net) and its just giving me a new problem one after another. Im now at the point as I mentioned above where battle net wont even install.

I came back after two years wanting to play wow to see whats new i bought the expansion and when i wanted to install the game it would stay stuck at calculating size i tried everything, NOTHING worked.

Finally i decided to reinstall battle.net and everything blizzard as a whole but now im getting the same issue it gets stuck at 45% and giving me this exact same code saying something went wrong ive tried countless solutions and nothing working.

Has someone found a solution to the problem? My games stopped updating, I deleted Battle.net and now I can’t install it again for the same reason it’s stuck at 45%.

Same here, it was fine until yesterday then all of a sudden, I cant access battle net now I cant reinstall.

This error is displayed. Cannot uninstall Battle.net or stuck at 45% update. Can’t reinstall battle.net either help

Everything went down the drain when HS stopped at 77% and stopped updating

Hello,

I think that it is the same problem as error BlZbntbts0000005c.

It is a problem with the new version of Battlenet Agent 9124 which for some computers cannot connect to http:// eu.patch.battle .net:1119/agent (we can see the connection errors in the logs files whose name begins by “Agent.” that may be here : C:\ProgramData\Battle.net\Agent\Agent.9124\Logs

I hope that it will be solved soon.

It seems that the same type of problem occured last year and it would have been solved by Blizzard because it worked for users without doing anything more on their side :

I resetted the WMI repository as showed and I could reinstall Batlle net agent.

Resetting the WMI repository did not help me. Based on the logs in the Agent folder, the blizzard endpoint it’s trying to go to is invalid and returning 404 errors.

Resetting the WMI repository on my personal machine would not fix an issue with a blizzard agent routing to an invalid blizzard host.

if you right click cmd in windows you run as administrator even if your user is admin.
I did this and was able to reset, but it didn’t help for me. still fails at 45%.
