Random Security Checks While Playing Call Of Duty

I am in the middle of playing call of duty and my battle net decides to do a security check which closes my game and opens battle net which says connecting on my user name

most of the time it kicks me out of the game which causes me to loose everything

is there a way i can turn off this security check or a fix for it?

Have you tried to set the Battle.Net launcher to shut down when you launch a game ?

Click the blue logo in the top left corner of the Battle.Net Launcher and select Settings. Select “App” in the left column. Under General, set “On game Launch” to “Exit Battle.Net completely”. Click Done to save the changes.

I havnt done that, ill change the settings and see how it goes

If it continues to happen, any other ideas?

Not really… there was a similar post on the Diablo III forums here; exiting the Battle.Net Launcher on game launch is what solved it.

It looks like some kind of a bug, likely affecting only a small number of players.

I done what you said and its all good no more random security checks which kicks me out of the game

I do have one other issue tho, i get a server disconnected from time to time

error code is BLZBNTBGS000003F8

any ideas on what is causing this?

That’s great; I’m glad setting the Battle.Net launcher to shut down when you launch a game worked out for you.


That error code is a Call of Duty disconnect error; there is some basic connection troubleshooting that you can try in this support article but, if the error continues after you tried everything there, you will need to contact Activision Support for additional help.
