Have reported this issue multiple times since last February (2025), updating for 12.0 - now pushing 12 months since I originally noticed it - issue has now spread to all 5 of the accounts linked to my Bnet. Approximately 65-70% of my 250~ characters are not updating properly and are returning 404 errors when being called in the API. Characters show 0 unique pets collected and incorrect number of obtained mounts in the armory versus in game journals.
Attempting to call up the characters on 3rd party sites like SimpleArmory or DFA results in error messages. Eventually there will be no work around or addon for me to review my collection outside of using the ingame journal, which cannot be exported or mocked up with notes. The primary reason I play is for collecting items in the game so its very important that I be able to lookup my account information without having to login to the game and cross reference the very basic in game journals.
It’s frustrating that there is no way to escalate this issue to a real person at Blizzard for technical support.
