Its looking like a account issue, what they need to fix. Going to that forum post doesnt help me.

Yeah there is nothing you can do. The forum tells you exactly that. They acknowledged the problem and are working on a solution. There is NOTHING you can do at the moment.
Same Problem, was working perfectly last night, now just constantly crashes.

I’m also having this issue.
I was able to play vanguard for a bit but since the last update every time i open battle.net it crashes. doesnt matter which game i try to open or if i just try to open the app. non of the above suggested fixes worked.
Please everyone, stop reinstalling your hole computer and everything else ivé read here so far, the problem isent at your end, like they said, they are looking in to it. im sure it will come back online sooner or later WITHOUT you haveing to install everything you own again

so i logged in with another battle.net account that i had. then battle.net did not crash and i could update wow.
then i tried to login with my original account again and it crashed after a couple of seconds.
so the issue is with the battle.net client and the information exchanged based on account status/games you own i guess.

The second one got nuked by Pastebin. You can delete both here though, as Blizzard is looking into it. Best to wait for that to conclude before doing anything else.

If you did make an MSInfo, you can use it as a diagnostic to make your PC run better. Check the Windows Error Reporting at the bottom. All of the “Faulting application” lines should be tended to
