We’ve still got people on this. Just wanted to poke my head in to let y’all know you aren’t forgotten. This is a top priority for the classic team right now so they’re working on getting it resolved ASAP.

That’s awesome that they’re still working on it. But the “race” is already over. Multiple lvl 90s already while many of us haven’t been able to play at all today.

When someone points out something like “not my area of responsibility” and you ask who you should contact to open a dialogue. I never said me specifically, I literally said everyone. All we have is a forum, which rarely gets responses and the one major response we get it “hey uhh this particular thing isn’t my fault but there working on it”. 99% of people are going be like what the hell kind of response is that.

I’m going to assume most of those people haven’t been in a structured dev environment. When you are in one, you realize exactly how difficult it is to pinpoint the issue and have a time frame for the solution alongside being in contact with people who need support. I am not saying their response is a reasonable one for those looking for an answer, but it is the one they can give, because being intentionally vague is necessary as to not give incorrect information. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve had to give the answer of “When we find the issue, we will let you know”. This isn’t cut and dry, and the information they have isn’t always complete.

on a newer game that may be more under development yea… but they’ve been doing these ladder resets for 20 years. There is no way there is that many more players this season compared to past ones. There was never this many issues. Blizzard don’t care enough for D2 to allocate enough server space.

That’s not necessarily true. The remaster rumor very likely brought back a good number of people, and you aren’t accounting for the fact that the issue with this game is not the unique player count, but the people exploiting it. If the issue is actually directly related to number of players, then it is due to the people running multiple bots. If it isn’t, then you’re talking about something that was either not evident before, but an issue, or something that was introduced with any of the various server side fixes that may do that shouldn’t impact anything, but somehow does.

people have been running many many bots for many many seasons its nothing new. That is not a good reason for the servers to be this bad

We’ve been suggesting this in Asia for a year now, but we haven’t had any solutions or answers, but we’re dealing with it quickly because East and West are going wild.

Is it racism even in the game?
Asia is now suffering from a queue even if a new ladder has begun.

i wish they’d just merge the servers, at-least in softcore. i’d rather be ingame with a bunch of people who dont speak my language, than waiting in a 7000 queue.

Blizz wants to do an open world for D4 … they could merge all the realm for D2 … But I think it is harder to do that than fix the actual problem, even if the problem persist for 2 days … What a bad 20th anniversary

When are u going to fix that queue on East relam ???
