I did the exact same thing! Just download the game through the battle.net client with an account that uses a mobile verification.

I just bought Starcraft, and I can’t install it. I have tried to follow this thread, but i must have missed something. I have turned off my anitvirus, and the “calculating size” thing still spins around, nothing happens. what do i do next please?

After Battle.net installs start the install from there.

Open Battle Net itself 1st, locate the game there - hit install.

This is works as well. Now i can install cold war again… Since season 2 update came out its just a mess. Loading and stutter issues.

To fix the problem you need to cancel the download after downloading battle.net then log on to battle.net then download it from there.

guys so ive had this issue for the longest time as i download just the warzone download set-up. the way I solved this was downloading the blizzard launcher and going through that please give this again if you haven’t already. good luck

I have had very similar problems recently. I restored Windows a while ago and wanted to install Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm, so I downloaded the Hearthstone installer. I started installation, but the blue triangle would circle on the “start install” button after you press it. After a while, I closed it and downloaded Battle.net. After that was installed I tried to start installing Hearthstone from there, but the same thing happened. I even let it sit overnight to be sure, but nothing changed. I have been looking through various forums to find a solution, and one here worked for me. You have to go to where you want the game to install to and create the folder for it to install in: Hearthstone, etc. After that is done, go back to the installer and make sure that folder is the selected install location. Once you press “start install” it will start downloaded like normal. I hope this was helpful.
