ok~ I have solved the problem!!!
1.open C:\Users\User\Documents\Call of Duty Modern Warfare\report
2.search the file’s name is carshdump.rar then unzip it
3.open dxdiag.txt
4.Scroll to the bottom and check which program cause a crash
5.use google find Event name and P1 then fix it

OR you can try use CMD ,text [ sfc /scannow ] then window will fix itself !!

ill try right now thanks for the info

whats the program caused issue for you

Try deleting all the archive / players / report folders in the “Call of Duty Modern Warfare” folder in My Documents. (It’s a good idea to make a backup just in case.) After that, start the game and have the file recreated.
Currently, no freeze or error has occurred even if AFK is performed in the lobby after cleared 3 types of tutorials.

When are you going to fix this? get my money back

I’ve not had any issues since updating the BIOS on my motherboard, might be worth a go for some people, it worked for me, might work for you.

I uninstall Razer Synapse, fix the crash for a week and now it’s doing it again, i don’t know what to do, i’m not gonna unistall all my application for playing MW

Fix this plz

Trello says they fixed it but it seems the error has changed. It’s not Fatal any more preventing me from playing. I still get a error pop up which tells me to Scan and Repair. No way am I doing that again. I’ve tried it twice and gotten into that infinite loop forcing a new install.

I get to play in the following way: I deactivate antivirus, I close all the programs in the tray including Nvidia, write permissions in the installation folder of the COD and the Documents folder, I close Battle.net, I execute “Modernwarfare launcher.exe” as administrator

I saw my CrashDump file and it says a “spoolvs” process has failed; I don’t know what this process has to do with here

Just opened up the game and there was a download. During the Season 5 update when I started getting errors RTSS and Hwinfo stats were missing. This new update has brought them back so far. Will update if things stay good >__>

Still crashed lmaooo but still able to play once I move the error notice.

Yes this is what happened to me as well.

tried your method but it didn’t work

I tried everything before. Reinstalled Radeon driver, switched to previous version, ran directx 11, reinstalled the game, changed the graphics settings thousands of times …nothing to do.
So I decided to stop all background applications on Windows 10 before launching the game. Going by exclusion, apparently, the Amazon Photos app running in background caused the game to crash. Tested several times, closing this application, the game never crashed anymore. I recommend disabling any background process or software and testing.
This happened to me only on Season 5.

Sapphire AMD Radeon RX580
CPU Ryzen 5
I hope it helps.

the game now freeze without any errors message

I stop trying to fix this, i hope vanguard will not be like this…
