I had the same issues with an outdated driver, so I don’t think that specific driver has the issue. I’m still running the latest driver ingame and without having issues… Fingers crossed

Exact same error to me after Season 5 update, on an AMD Radeon 6700 xt. Repair didn’t fix anything.
AMD Ryzen 7 3700x, Radeon RX 5700XT Same error after 5-10 mins in main menu. Tried to remove players folder - didn’t help.
Roll back drivers doesn’t work for me. Don’t think this is an Nvidia driver issue… its a game compatibility issue.

Just got the same problem. I even reinstalled the entire game but still happens.
Also tried to scan and repair but that did not help at all.
My system: i9-10900K/ RTX 3090/ 64GB
I also tried reinstalling and disabling XMP, nothing: still the same error after few seconds of game launch. I’ll keep ignoring the error window as a workaround.
Same set up… basically… its the game… not the drivers… if AMD and Nvidia platforms all have the same experience!

Don’t bother trying… I think Activision needs to do an emergency patch… if both AMD and Nvidia has the same issues. its not a hardware driver specific issue… it must be a game issue!!

Maybe it’s not the drivers but GEFORCE EXPERIENCE (at least for Nvidia users), since i reinstalled both, thought it was the drivers, i might have been wrong.
I just ignored the error and the game continued after a few seconds. Dont press on any button of the Fatal error messagebox. Leave it there until you finish playing the game.

Yes, this also worked for me as well. When you get the error don’t press anything and the game should pop back up and run in the background. Don’t click on the X or the “OK” prompt on the error message, instead click into the game in the background and continue playing
same for me. disabled gsync, updated and rolled back drivers… no difference at all. this is a mess.
Same issue… New season, new weapons, new skins, new bugs…

Same problem here.
I have the same issue, I have tried everything available on videos or listed in this group nothing works for me 
Trying to find a fix, but unnable to do it.
I’m with a ryzen 5900x, amd 6800xt, 32gb ram.
Tried both fullscren, borderless and window modes, nothing seems to help.
Having the same issue. Rolled back Nvidia drivers to the previous version as OP, but still getting hit by the messages. I can move the error message onto my second monitor and continue to play only around 1/3 of the time.
Also receiving this error! I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the game with no prevail! Though if I ignore the message Im able to continue to play the game as normal!..
Same issue here everything was working good before the season 5 i try everything above and nothing is working now… same fatal error😡
