Howdy y’all,

These issues can happen for several different reasons but to clarify, we aren’t aware of any widespread issues at the moment. I would suggest disabling any background programs (such as security software) which could be causing a conflict. You can also try changing the region of the Blizzard app or game which can route to a different patching server.

This error has often met for me in Cold War, since the update on March 4th the game has been having problems connecting to Blizzard’s servers and when it connects Ping it gets extremely high. The most common errors are this BLZBNTAGT00000BB8 and BLZBNTBGS000003F8. Even following all the recommendations the game does not connect and is still looped in the scan

Since today I’m experiencing the same problem with WC3. I disabled my Anti-Virus, deleted ProgrammData, deinstalled the game, try repairing the game, change DNS-settings, of course restarted the laptop and nothing has worked.

come on this is ridiculous clearly this isnt a one person issue scan for ever then oops i suck try again.i paid for game and expect to play it! crashes around 70%

Hey, y’all! Changing the region helped resolve the issue with my CoD: WZ not “updating” and errroring out!

Hi,

I have the same problem since the update that arrived today. I have now had to uninstall the game and re-download it on a connection that is very slow. Not a great experience. Please fix it.

I am having the same problem. The scanning gets to 98%, and then i get the error. I have tried it on Americas, Europe and Asia, still nothing…

This is not an isolated incident. I have uninstalled/re-installed the battle.net app several times now, deleted all TEMP files, and modified/disabled any other applications that may be interfering. Everything ran fine until last night, while during a game, my application crashed and the battle.net app indicated an upgrade was needed. Now all I get is a completely unacceptable looping installation issue.

Having a similar issue but all i get is a error when i try to start the battlenet app and it displays no information about why the error box displays.

I have the same issue and it just started today. I have tried “updating” the game from each of the servers (America, Europe, Asia) but this did not solve the issue.

Happening to me today (3-21). It started with a power failure/forced restart while I was connected to the game. I’m reinstalling now. Tried everything else with no luck. Please update!
