Attempting to create a client for API access at https://community.developer.battle.net/access/clients/create returns a 500 INTERNAL_SERVER_ERROR message.
It’s been broken for several weeks.

So I managed to get it working in the dumbest way. I kept changing the name of the api client and retrying and somehow eventually after like 30 tries it just worked and registered my client. My guess is either name uniqueness is needed or you just gotta spam trying to create it.

Guy above’s solution worked for me. Use a different name. I think uniqueness might be a factor.

The REAL thing !
The hint on “Client name“ says “Client names may be visible to your site users, and are globally unique across all developer accounts.“ but the form do not inform you when the client name are already reserved…
For me and for you, use your nickname or whatever like “Presteus - addon name“
