same, i can’t change the region, can’t add my phone
Already 100 people complaining about changing country…its time to take it seriously blizzard
Use a VPN. Connect to the region where your account with initially created (in my case USA), then close Battlenet and reopen the page. Follow the instructions again. Click on Continue. This time it should work and load the page where you will be asked to provide a proof of residency (because apparently Blizzard thinks it’s our bank and is entitled to this kind of private information…).

Yep, that one. Just follow the procedure again after activating the VPN. The page that didn’t work before will work now.

the whole SMS thing is completely unnecessary. plus country change service doesnt work

this is outrageous. Why is this so convoluted. I can’t play with my friends. I have to provide documents proving the country of residence AND I STILL CAN’T CHANGE THE REGION. WHAT. THE, HELL.

how hard can it be to just change a region ? it is like i’m trying to get an entry visa or something.

i did what u say when i press Continue it bring me into login page i try to put my login and its stuck on Security Check … did u change the region ? is worked for u ?
Hey I kinda found the solution
So my account region is us but the region I’m currently in is EU so every time I would go to the support page it would take me to the EU support page Blizzard Support
but what you actually need to do is be on the support page of the corresponding region ur account is in for me was Blizzard Support
after that when i went through the process and pressed continue it actually worked and took me to the correct page
TLDR ; Look at the URL of the support page you are on and make sure it matches that of the region your account is locked to

Same, never experienced a more annyoing thing in my entire life. I was so hyped for OW2…The fact that it is SOOO EASY to fix and they cant do it makes me totally lose my mind since I cant connect my phone number and I cant play. Its a totally dumb idea to connect phone number to country anyways! SHAME SHAME SHAME SHAME. And I’d bet in 10000000000000000000$ that they wont fix this ever. GG.

I was thinking about to file a lawsuit against the company. But I’d rather not waste that much energy in it. Basically WE payed money for it. THEY are saying they are active 24/7. LIE! Now this is the second day already where they didnt do any freaking thing with the easiest thing to solve under a minute. And we are not able to play ever again or what?
