I have recently returned to playing World of Warcraft and have purchased the Midnight Expansion. Not that it is relevant, but to provide context for why I am posting this issue. After using the boost that came with the expansion, I realized that the characters were on multiple servers. Since the majority of my characters are on The Scryers, I bought a 3-pack of transfers since I had 3 characters on Emerald Dream. The hope was to consolidate my characters in one place. The first two transfers went through just fine. I was able to select The Scryers. Since I had already used the boost to create a character on Emerald Dream, when I tried to move that character, I got a notification that it was too soon after the boost to make the transfer. The following day, I tried again, and the system would not let me select The Scryers server.
You seem to have wandered into the Legacy old old game section of the forums. You want the WoW Customer Support section that serves as an Information Desk to help folks navigate support, answer questions about policies, account services, etc.
In your case I suspect you are running into one of the limitations of character services. There is a cooldown on them once a service is used. You should be able to do the transfer after that cooldown expires.
- You can transfer a character from a realm to another once every 72 hours. However, if you transfer a character from one account to another, you can perform subsequent transfers (whether to another account or to a new realm) only after 30 days
- You cannot transfer a character boosted in the past 72 hours
If that does not answer your question, or it has been more than 72 hours, you can ask on the WoW CS forum and see if a Blue can check for you to see if something is blocking it.
