Same exact issue. Im using game pass pc. I only play diablo 4 with it, i was playing mid game and then it crashed. After closing it and trying to get it to reopen ive had zero luck. Battle.net says that serror code 315306 cant find a valid license. But my gamepass membership is current and active. Ive tried to relink it through battle.net account swttings and come up with the prerequisite date was missing from session. This sucks…

Itd be nice to hear something sooner than later. Ive never had an issue with their games in the past, so i dont know how helpful their support team is. But i see this thread growing quickly.

Having the same problem here, I’ve just played Diablo IV yesterday, but today the launcher do not let me click on “play” and I get this error when trying to connect the xbox account

I have the same issue. I was trying to make a new blizzard account, and connect is to my xbox. My previous account on overwatch lost all the skins, and continues to say it is merging. I deleted the previous battle net account since I cannot use the shop in game. Its a bit frustrating for sure.

Thank me later. Someone on Reddit says this works. “Sign into Diablo on your Xbox and then it will prompt you to log into battle net”
One thing you could also try is to only click continue once until it says click continue to complete and just leave it at that screen so you don’t get to the prerequisite failed screen and then it should be linked but when you log into your Xbox is should refresh that connection. Don’t think it’ll work if you fully click through until it says prerequisite not found

Prerequisite data was missing from session. PC game pass. Can’t even install Diablo 4.

Now that’s a whole different issue because you technically have an Xbox account being its game pass but don’t actually have an Xbox. I’d request refund and buy the game through battle net itself

I have this same problem! Yesterday I buy game pass only to try diablo and i can’t connect my xbox* account! Fix it, time passing and i can’t do nothing with it!

I tried now again to connect it and it has work I still don’t know what the difference was.
