Call of duty not launching past bo6 logo

Call of Duty will not launch past the loading screen on startup.

(Previously played MWIII and Warzone just fine)

Pre-purchased Black Ops 6 and now call of duty wont launch at all, it will load the start up screen and white loading bar and sit on it for 20 seconds then immediately close itself and go back to desktop.
No error messages or crash messages.

I have updated Windows.
Updated game force ready drivers / graphics drivers.

Tried all the suggested tips to make it work but no luck
(Uninstalled all other anti-cheat folders)

man same issue here and no luck. Does activision have a public forum we can move this too? Ik many people have our issues. So dumb I bought Bo6 and can’t even play it! Ik not blizzard fault but I dont see public forums like these on Activision support. It’s just useless steps :/.

I am having the same and it is a pity that they don’t have live support agent. At least I would know whether I should wait or fix somehow.

Seems Like: Ricochet Anti-Cheat Blocking GHub & Nvidia/iCUE Conflict – Fix Inside

If you’re having issues launching the game due to Ricochet anti-cheat flagging GHub (Logitech software) and conflicts between the latest Nvidia driver and iCUE (Corsair software), here’s a workaround that worked for me:

  1. Uninstall Conflicting Software: Remove GHub and iCUE.
  2. Reinstall Visual C++ Redistributables: Install both x86 and x64 versions of Microsoft Visual C++ to ensure the game has the right libraries.
  3. Launch in Safe Mode: After the first launch attempt fails, click “Launch” again and select “Launch in Safe Mode” when prompted.
  4. Apply In-Game Update: Once in the game, make any required settings changes, then follow any prompts for in-game updates (it may ask to relaunch).

After that, it should load shaders and get you into the game.

Hope this helps anyone running into the same issue!

EVRYONE REPORT THE BUG HERE SO THEY FIX IT PLEASE!! If enough of us make a form and click crash/freeze then they’ll fix it. Won’t let me share link but search up “activision cod bug report” in google and report the crashing of CoD when launching!! Share so we can get enough complaints n they’ll fix it

Incorrect. This is the Blizzard Bnet forum. Blizzard does not develop Call of Duty and will not fix bugs with a game they do not create. You will need to contact Activision, as they are not monitoring a Blizzard forum for bugs with their game.

Good luck.

this worked for me thanks but now i cant control rgb

It has not worked for me. I have deleted iCue, updated my AMD driver to the latest, reinstalled COD, reinstalled battlenet, did the change folder name trick, disabled fullscreen optimizations and run COD.exe as administrator, surface scanned the hard drives in command prompt admin level, have different amounts of the game installed. Currently I either get to the opening bo6 cinematic and it crashes back to the play button within a few seconds, or it doesn’t even make it to the cinematic and just goes right back to the play button. Other games, and other battlenet games work fine. I have checked a different GPU and that wasn’t it. I disabled my CPU overclock, that’s not it, the game has worked poorly before BO6 update, but now its unplayable. Also, do not own BO6. SO i am just wanting to play warzone. the furthest i have made it is to the new game menu, and clicked on warzone. It goes back to battlenet, launches and then says the classic message,“update requires restart”, it does and then it’s back to the cycle of crashing. I am at a complete loss other than refreshing windows back to factory and starting from scratch
ugh. Thank you for reading all that. I wish I could be more help to others.

Black ops 6 is not loading for me at all, I get it installed do all the how to videos to get it working and it will give me either an error code. Or it will say the game is running but it won’t boot the game up on screen. Is there any suggestion or anything I can do. I’m getting tired of this bs, and just want to play the game I’ve purchased.
All my drivers are up to date, did the file name change, and the admin. But nothing has worked

man I was on steam was able to play Campaign full but not able to access Multiplayers and Zombies i guess they all brought the game with a big bug for most of us what piss me
is by the day we will be able to play all of it some F
lucky people will have there build like multiplayer at full max and the day we get in well we are doom. just hope for us they will find a way to balance that bug to be at least fair to all of us who are still waiting to be in.

Tried this but unfortunately still wont even load.

Says play, when clicked , goes to Loading Game and finally when it reaches Now Playing - goes back to Play.

Havent even been able to look at the game ://

go to this replace user with your pc user
C:\Users<user>\AppData\Local\Activision\Call of Duty\crash_reports
or
%localappdata%\Activision\Call of Duty\crash_reports

Look for the the zip file that’s new.
Open that zip folder and look for info.json.
I’m using VS Code so you can right click choose format doc with and choose json.

Once you done that look for crashed_module_file mine is KERNELBASE.dll

also look for error_message, mine is
“error_message”: “#Disc read error [14.0]: ‘eng_code_post_gfx.ff’ - Check log for more information”

so it’s crashing because of eng_code_post_gfx.ff so it’s currupt. well I thought but i deleted it and verify game files but it still crashing with eng_code_post_gfx.ff

So it’s COD not us players trying to play. I created a lot of reports but nothing. they don’t even have it on the trello board say they are looking into it so they don’t care about the crashing.

Uninstall Sonic Studio app if you have it. That’s what was preventing BO6 from launching in my PC
