Same here, keep tweeting Raven about this issue on twitter. Maybe they’ll eventually do something.

The game does not work, nothing is being done about it and it’s been two weeks. This is ridiculous, can’t even send a ticket in fact as “an unexpected error” always pops up when sending a ticket.

Perhaps time to consider refunds? I doubt they will care unless refunds or legal issues are beginning to be put on the table.

I had this issue after the season 3 update and it somehow resolved itself after a few hours of playing cold war zombies (hell of a way to make someone play that garbage). But after the most recent update I’ve gotten the same problem and haven’t been able to resolve it.

Can’t wait for the new battlefield BR so I can delete this game.

Well they just pushed down an update tonight of approx 250-300 MB but so far it didn’t resolve the issue. I am running another scan and repair to see if by some miracle this might resolve it this time. Wish me luck.

Hello everyone, Update on this topic whishing it might help you…
After long-thinking it, I updated BIOS to the latest version (NOT BETA) of my MoBO (TUF Gaming B550 PLUS).

Additionally I had updated GPU Drivers to latest (Recommended only) (Saphire Nitro + 5500xt) and only with a single monitor plugged in when doing this.

I erased cache by:
Closing all battlenet processes (even agent.exe)
Windows + R and then typing %ProgramData%
removing “Blizzard Entertainment” folder (there is a step by step within Blizzard page)

FInally, I opened BattleNet again, open Warzone (it did not crashed there as it used to) and then, selected to open recommended configs. instead of mine and voilá!

I was able to open Warzone finally (after 2 weeks of not even opening loading screen) and right now it’s been running for ~1 hr. without any issue.

I am certain that this might not help everyone but hopefully someone benefits from these steps, peace!

Updated BIOS, tried again, no luck…Alienware R17 here. Updated GPU drivers, deleted folder mentioned above. Tired of this BS.

My COD Warzone was unable to launch or update since April 21; since the Season 3 Update. It was updated few days ago with a 200MB update and it refuses to install the May 4th update. 3 weeks without playing this game, not gainning XP, not completing the Battle Pass that I still couldn’t buy with the cod points. Raven and Activision must be very generous with us once the problem get fixed.

I am getting a similar issue as well. When I click “play” the button changes to “launching” then “playing now” then it flips back to “play”. There is no indication of the game launching, as well as no messages to why it has not. Is it the game or battlenet?

Imagine paying $60 for the original game, $60 for the new release + $xxx amount for in-game content only to be completely ignored for multiple weeks.

I don’t think they care about fixing it as they already have our $$.

No such luck. Still won’t fire up. I am going to investigate the Bios and the erasing the cache etc as offered up by xCorvuz Thanks for suggesting it. I will let you know how I make out.

I hope it helps! I know that not for everyone BIOS update would do the job so that’s the reason I was not doing it, I literally left it as a last option for personal reasons but, so far it bring me more benefits not only being able to open WZ, better CPU and GPU temps and also moving my RAM to 3200 MHz (before my PC didn’t started at 3200 so I had to use them @ 2400). Please let me know if this does not work so probably we could work something else and help the community!

i reported the Problem to the costumer service, he answered me with an email and he asked what problem i have and after i told him the problem with error code (between the messages are days btw) he sended me a new email with a link to an activision support site and a problem that was nothing near the same as my problem.
