I spent last 15 minutes researching this, and this was a very popular option to solve it, but I got mad that this is the same issue happening again and again, as posts I was reading were from few years back. So there is definitely a deeper issue Blizzard is ignoring and I am dissatisfied by that, that was my point
I just left it on Europe and waited… after about 1,5 hour its now downloading at 20 mb/s. So if your lazy - go do something else, and itll download in a few hours.

I like that lol, for me being within Europe I get faster speeds on “Americans” however like you say it does drop down after a period of time, whenever the speed drops I simply pause the update and then resume and it jumps back up.
yeah it can be worse, i’m down to 2B/s. how can they think this is acceptable

Switch to Americans server and whenever it slows down press pause then resume and it jumps back up. Mine is complete now but it has broken the game so I can’t play it anyway lol
Here we go again, so I have just completed the 16gb update and now my game will not launch.
Dev Error 6034
Tried scan and repair didnt solve anything
Also tried uninstalling battlenet launcher and installing again, also did nothing
3 of my friends are also having the issue.
Fix delete .build.info and it will recreate upon launching with the correct information. Stupid launcher.

I just got the new update wich is arount 12GB, I have 75mbps LAN connection and I’m dowloading with 3b/s. Could the support do anything about this issue. If this keeps going this way with the game and the bugs I’m going back to Apex Legends. It’s a good game has some bugs, but it’s fun, but if I have to wait to dowload the update 3 days or more no thank you.
And fix the issue where you can be shot true walls with no point of view, really frustraiting.

I f****d the System 
- Connect to Asian VPN.
- Login to Battle.net-Client with option “Asia”
- open cmd.exe as administrator
- Wait for Download to start
- enter “ipconfig /dnsflush” (note the space between g and /) and press enter
- Disconnect from VPN
I don’t know whry I tried it that way, but it worked for me.

Just a little correction - the command to flush your DNS is “ipconfig /flushdns” not “dnsflush”
I am trying to download the new patch for Call of duty MW but the download stops after 1 second. The last patch had the same problem for me but because of the size I could pause and unpauze my way through but with this new one of 15 GB that is not really an option.
Steam downloads as usual at 30 MB/S.
I have tried to reinstall battle.net and clearing the dns via cmd.

Got the same problem. I also tried to reinstall BNet, but nothing changed.

Battle net is just disgusting. I hope no game ever again will be released through blizzard. First i had to redownload 100gb then i had problems with last update and today its not downloading at all just like you guys. Shame on you blizzard. Problems with every single update what a absolute joke.

I STARTED THE DOWNLOAD AT EARLY AFTERNOON AT 13:36 UTC+2 TIME.
SINCE THEN 3 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES PASSED AND I’VE DOWNLOADED ONLY 3 GB… “IS THIS AN OUT OF SEASON APRIL FOOL’S JOKE?”
Ok, I know there are some regulations because of the spreading virus but this not some little net speed decrease… this is the annihilation of the speed.
So! When will you fix this? Everyone here payed for this and now some of us are unable to play / download… FIX IT!
