I find this pretty disgusting in this day and age that people are paying £50 and equivalent to play a game and they just cant download the patches !!! i think we all know the problem and that would be blizzard and their crappy servers that just cant cope . I have tried all the so called solutions which none have made a difference . My broadband is 70mb and yet when the patch downloads (sporadically) im getting 200b/s . Sorry blizzard but this isnt good enough . SORT YOUR SERVERS OUT or let someone else take on the role that can cope with the downloads

i’m not able to download the new update. there are over 12gb left and i get a maximum of 32bytes per second. if i calculate that and am very freindly. then that gives over 4000 days of download time. are u still in business in 11 years? absolutly not in this way!

Seriously guys, this is simply impossible. You are lucky this is SW industry and politicians are still sleeping. In any other industry you would be sued for what you do here. Selling a product and not being able (or willing) to provide service. I had to re download this game for about 4 or 5 times in the last 2-3 months (not even mentioning updates) and its just outrageous. I could theoretically load with 125 mB/s but your servers rarely even allow me to go beyond 20 mB/s (steam gets me up to 100 without any issues).
In the last 30 days, at least 10 days this game was completely unplayable for me. Either because the downloads didn´t work at all or because of extremely slow download speeds. And don´t even start with coronavirus, you are a multi billion dollar company and no indie studio. I played each and every call of duty since cod 4, and I swear to god, I´m sick of this. NEVER ever an activision or blizzard game again.

It beggars belief that no one from blizzard replies or is giving hourly updates as to whats being done to solve this issue . Very poor customer support actually non existent customer support . What good is it blizzard putting a small acknowledgement on the download screen that you are aware of slow or failed downloads ? is that keeping us informed and updated ? no . Get a handle on this blizzard and fast

Same problem with download speeds. It’s crazy to limit the dl speed that much. I am getting like 100-200kb/s. Unacceptable.

Pathetic, this is not the first time it happens and it just keeps going. You guys obviously don´t care much about us, not only that, you are trying to make us believe that the problem could be from our side…
Like IW didn´t make enough errors already with the CoD franchise in the last decade but it had also to join a crapola company like Blizzard.
Yor are not even able to provide enough bandwidth for everyone to download correctly in the XXI century. Just give up dudes, go do something else and stop messing and ruining gamer´s lifes and time.

I have 200 mb internet and I download with 200-300 kbps ? Are you F kidding me ? Steam works fine at 12-14 mb/s . I even tested my speed to 3-4 european countries and it’s the same . FIX THESE SERVERS . This service is bull**** . I hope they don’t survive as a company . I played this **** game for like 4-5 hours and I tried to refund it because I dont like it . The support said that I played so many hours . WTF MAN . How am I supposed to find out if I like a game or not in 1 hour ? 1 hour is equal to 3-4 small games . WTF . Stupid policy . Will never buy anything else from blizzard and especially activision .

I think a lot of people being really ungrateful.
They’ve released one of the best online fps you could get, you can play for free or you can pay for whole thing (which I did) they constantly update it with content and fixes, it is going to the 3rd season now, it has had more multiplayer action than most of the online games you’ve seen in the last 10 years and you’re all crying because your updates are going slowly… Well I’m getting 2mbs download and it’s taking a good couple of hours, but it is worth the wait.
Considering I’ve pretty much never had any lag issues or issues with the game itself.
Just wait, go read get some sun if you can and enjoy this apocalyptic weather.

People asked to remove p2p function, but I agree that in some cases it could work, just remember there are alot of people that have good download speed but not good upload, and as soon as it is 100% they will stop sharing.
Not trying to be rude or anything but if blizzard as a company insists on having their own platform that people NEED to use to play certain games than the least they can do is make it work semi decently. It’s stuff like this (something similar happened 3 weeks ago) that make platforms like steam the largest out there.
Steam does not produce games really, so it’s not their focus, if steam would make games like blizzard their platform would probably not be very good too.
Thats a new low for me lol 1.62kb/s , think it may be quicker if i walk backwards and forwards to blizzard with a wheelbarrow for the patch

Having the same issue. 200 Mbps download speed and around 20Mbps of Upload speed. Download starts at 4 Mb/s, peaks at 6 sometimes and goes down to 0 Kpb/s… then download stops and an error pops up telling me i should check my internet connection? U f* kidding me? I dont mean to be rude, and i paid for the game… so i expect you to pay me back with my product, thats your f* job… give me what i paid for so just give us the god damn game and fix this problem. Your insolent attitude making players believe its our fault or our internet connection really gets me on my nerves. And btw @subfi its not being ungrateful… its being f* pissed off because even at slow speed i cant download the game because of the error i keep getting so you shut your mouth and enjoy your 2Mbps speed download.
