New patch today at morning… again same problems…zero f+++ given about this error, all the time, ignored…millions of cash going into those 2 companies > Blizzard, Activision… and they cant fix launcher problems… wich belonging for years. SAD.Kepp ignoring the problem, hope people quit playing.
Yep, same here. Sitting in my room, game dont wana download…0kb per second… got really mad…
I am in Europe and I log in as EU and I choose SU update server. Nothing works, I’ve tried everything.
The only thing that works is to connect to US VPN and then downloading starts, but it is only at 10MB/s, instead of my full 40MB/s.
PLS FIX IT!
Hey… the same problem, slow very very slow download. Sorry blizz support but every big game which gets a patch, you have to struggle for hours with the fact that you load with more than 1mbit at all. 2020 ??? UNACCEPTABLE!!! OUTRAGEOUS! sorry

I’m not impressed to be honest. I have been a Blizzard fan since i was a kid many years ago.
But now this company is a joke to me.
First they deploy a game that takes a crazy amount of space and bandwith to install, later they release an update that required me to download the entire game from scratch. Now it was not even possible to download yet another large 15GB update… And don’t even get me started on all the random bugs and crashes that i’ve encountered and had to troubleshoot - some i don’t even know what the cause is. This is starting to get really embarrasing for Blizzard, forcing people to use VPN to use their product which we paid for…

me too exactly the same problem from Greece from European server
Ive got the same problem but i change region to Asia n it start dl with normal speed 
I changed from EU to US… downloaded with speed 6mbs, buuuut stopped 8.84gb till end…out of 15gb… now i changed to asia… n we shall see…
Holy crap. It’s 2020 and seems like the coronavirus is not just infecting people but also infecting game download servers. What the f* is going on that you guys cannot fix this. I have been downloading the whole time at 50kbs/s, sometimes 2-4MB/s, sometimes it is just stuck at 0/s.
Well guyz, ,my solution… swap region from EU to US, and wait 5min, if starts to download…if not change to ASIA… again wait 5minutes if the dowload starts…if not… change to EUROPE region again, wait 5min if starts…if not… again change… pretty much i was sitting at my desk, watching, and changing… takes time, and u get nervous every time it stops…hope helped someone…

I STARTED THE DOWNLOAD AT EARLY AFTERNOON AT 13:36 UTC+2 TIME.
SINCE THEN 3 HOURS AND 20 MINUTES PASSED AND I’VE DOWNLOADED ONLY 3 GB… “IS THIS AN OUT OF SEASON APRIL FOOL’S JOKE?”
Ok, I know there are some regulations because of the spreading virus but this not some little net speed decrease… this is the annihilation of the speed.
So! When will you fix this? Everyone here payed for this and now some of us are unable to play / download… FIX IT!

Tonight I am downloading the update for MW just to find that the game download is at 108.41KB/s <— yeah that is that speed, I did a speed test and I am getting 1.1Gbps for my download speed and updated another game with steam with in seconds which was something like 17GB. So why is it your software is back to being slow again?

Why should they. We already bought their game so they dont need anything else. They have money on their accounts and they are happy.
I hope the corona crisis will cause their bankruptcy. That would be nice day for all gamers in the world.

Hey guys i know it sucks i have the same issue but after reading few solutions in the forum, the only one that worked for me was installing a VPN and get a free trial just for one day and changed my location to Canada and speed goes up to 20mb/s better then my previous 400kbs

your servers are a little bit slow.
And if I say “little bit” I mean, that with download speed 35,55kbps I need 5,05 days to download 15,53GB file.
Is it okay for you? For me not.
Fix it ffs.
It is definitly last game that I ever bought from Blizz, but still it would be nice if I can play it.

i have a 200mbit/s internet connection… I can only download the MW update with 100kb/s to 1 mb/s. what the heck man 
Nice 200 kb speed to download a patch when i got a 300mb wtf going on Blizzard is it the end of the world and started using turning wheel to power your servers

I never used Battlenet or even Call of Duty before, but after trying Warzone I was amazed how well gunplay is and I decided to buy core and I really understand why COD is so popular for all those years.
However, it’s beyond my understanding how terrible you are in update speeds. Once I connect to download - I get 5-8 Mb/s and it decreases, decreases and gets to ridiculous speeds of 1995 era. I did my research, so most people get some template from customer representative which does not solve anything, and finally - that poor soul buys VPN. Come on! The game is awesome, but you are ruining the customer experience with issues, that are logistics of updates. Its like seeing a state of the art super car with plastic hubcaps. Whoever reads this, please - go to your supervisor/manager and show some initiative to solve this! Hope you get promoted one day and we all stop thinking how come Steam/Ubi and other platforms solved this, while you lagging behind. I’ts not the cost issue, believe me…
What i did :
- Closed Battlenet
- Control + Alt + Del > Kill all Battlenet agent.exe
- Launch Battlenet again
- Before clicking on update > Change region to another one (i dit Europe to America)
- The Download will started
- If your download is not starting you must click on Pause (right side of the download bar) wait maybe 10 seconds and click again and your download will continue again.
- Don’t forget to change your region back when your game is downloaded.
