Why the f*** is the download/upgrade of the game soooo fcking slow!!! I am waiting for hours to load just 30 GB… And no, it is not the fault of my router…

yeah okay, fair point but the issues have been like this before the pandemic even started. im not being funny why should in eu have switch there servers just to download a patch its madness but funny how all my us server friends dont seem to be having the issues as i do and based in the uk now im not hating on the devs at all but its beyond joke when its had the same error message on my (other peeps) dashboard for the past 6 weeks? and its not the first time this download speed has been a issue for many, as ive said before my dwn/up speeds are with with of the best provides in the uk but its common issue as of late. other dev teams a rolling out patchs from home and there downlaods speeds arent being affected.

SOLUTION: (This Worked for me, Hopefully it will work for you) I was basically getting ridiculously slow Download speeds but found if you change your region to Americas, Use a VPN and change your VPN location to America Your download speed will greatly improve. Hopefully this helps Also remember to change the Network Bandwidth to 0. Hope this helps

I’m a developer myself so I understand things like this aren’t as simple to solve, especially under current circumstances. Fortunately I don’t work in the games industry where devs are treated like trash and deadlines are a lot stricter and demanding haha
Yeah I had the same issue with the Season 3 update except I had to redownload the whole game haha. They’ve obviously got a lot of things they gotta do and unfortunately, creating and releasing new content is a higher priority than fixing a problem that affects the minority of us. It sucks but its just how it is
This unfortunately good game deserves a 1 star rating for this dowload duration…
Ok, I understand everything, but if you are planning on releasing a patch you should do as they do it over at Overwatch download and install the patch in advance and just soft release it, so that we don’t experience this kind of problems in the future.
I have 50/50 mbps download speed that I pay a hefty sum for, and bought the game like 2 days ago if this is the customer service you intended for all that buy the game, it is truly disappointing. We are not here nor do we pay to be restricted in our download speed. It’s ridiculous and down right bad.

This has been very helpfull if you start at 300kbs then add 100 each time till it get’s stuck then you can do at at the maximum it will let you download mine capped at 680 kbs so 700 should be good ;D
Nah, this has been happening every update even before the whole coronavirus pandemic, they know something is wrong but refuse to fix it. Don’t sympathise for this dev team when they refuse to fix broken bugs since the release of this game.

WHAT THE HECK IS THIS… every freaking update that is more than 100 MB is so slow to download as hell. It is so ridiculous… every month it is the same! How is it possible? I can download anything from internet with 15-20 mb/s but on Blizzard app, COD update of course is 120 KB/S… that’s ridiculous!! I am switching regions but it doesn’t work at all… THIS IS RIDICULOUS!

WP BizzTard here’s a page of useless information which doesn’t blame are crappy servers or buggy software. if you want to download cod good luck! its peek time not our fault… go on any other service like steam get full 30mb come over to Bizztard and its downloading 27KB wtf is it 1990 again on a dial up? instead of trying to pass the buck and say its something at your end… fix your Bizztard App and upgrade your servers to handle the load.

absolutely ridiculous service/costumer support. not only are speeds stupidly low , but sometimes they actually drop to zero.
this is obviously something wrong on ur end , but u still try to push “work arounds” like vpn and mobile data even though u " do not support VPNs or mobile tethering directly". not to mention u encourage ppl to needlessly mess with their pc’s /settings , potencially breaking something that wasnt broken.
if ur servers are so critically overwhelmed WHY DO U PUSH A 30 GB UPDATE?! stop throwing sand in our eyes, do ur damn job and fix the underlying issues.

i’ve started playing bout 3 weeks ago, and bought it 2 weeks ago. this is the second update where dl speed starts at about 4 mb/s and sometimes drops to zero,stoping the dl all together.my internet speed is 200mb/s, but if im lucky it’ll hang around between 2 and 3 mb/s, only because i change my account region from europe to america.
IF you’re having issues with servers and too much traffic , WHY DO U PUSH A 30 GB UPDATE??!
either make them WAY smaller , or STOP UPDATING UNTIL U FIX THE UNDERLYING ISSUE ONCE AND FOR ALL!
this is very disappointing, and its the kinda stuff that makes me start to regret buying the game

I’m a early adapter of COD. I’ve played Call of Duty from day one, I mean the first ever PC edition until now. I’ always pay top bill to play this game, so I expect it to be playable. Since you have decided to go FREE with warzone, all PAYING players have issues. I suggest you think of a compensation so players who actually PAY for the game can PLAY the game.
