i feel you. even 25 mb/s is extrem slow. the joke is, I can download all other games in battle.net with like 1 gb/s…
(btw. before vpn, my download dropped to 1b/s…1b!)
Did you also pause the download before you did that? (Pause DL, wait a sec, toggle region (Asia worked for me), toggle back on), otherwise it will remain connected to the previous region until you restart the download.
So I’ve seen the news in regards to the download speeds being slow… I thought y’all said slow… Not slower than a daamndial-in connection? Are we running server farms on lemons now?
Any way, does any one have any clue how to get this game downloaded before my time on this planet is at its end? I’d at least like to know if it runs before I arrange a funeral.
(And with slow I mean 300 BYTES PER SECOND slow… That isn’t just “A little slow”, no, Dial-in is about 100+ times faster?)
This time for me the asian servers work. Log in to Asian server en select before download Region Asia above the play button and start the download. Maby it works for you also.

Switched to asian, went up to 5MB/s for a moment until dropping to 600 Kb/s, now running steady again.
Thanks man, at least now the download is going somewhere, I’ve been stuck on 0% for 3ish hours now? My internet never has a problem reaching its max (30MB/s) anywhere but here, so I was getting a bit upset seeing it start at 7Mb/s for a split second only to drop me back to 0 (Netherlands, EU also)
I’m glad it’s working for you now. Every update from activision is the same problem with the download speed.
Like a ton of other users here I have a download rate of +/- 30 kb/s… What can I do? Steam downloads with 25 mb/s. What is wrong with the blizzard launcher?
just put warzone on steam if you cant handle this… I am VERY upset with this launcher.
So like everyone else i was downloading at roughly 200b/s which is awful for nearly 16GB…
so do the following to hopefully get better download speeds! it helped for me… it only went upto 5m/b but it’s much better than before!
Steps!
(1) download and install Better net
(2) Log out of Battlenet - NOT CLOSE
(3) Once logged out - Close battle net completely
(4) install better net
(5) connect to America on betternet
(6) open Battlenet Launcher and select America
Enjoy faster downloads

can aproove, the vpn way works. (with expressvpn i have even 25 mb/s now)
The launcher and the updates are a joke. I have never had any issues with updating a game except for cod. It’s such a waste of time. And what are they proposing, leave the pc running over night? Yea sure, electricity costs nothing. Furthermore the update just stucks a a certain point and aborts. Don’t tell me something is wrong with my hardware. Everything is just fine with my 500 mbps provider. It’s just so annoying updating the game for like a week until i can play it again. For all those who are saying “yea just keep calm, you can skip this one day”. I have a life and i am online like one time in a month and just want to play and can’t cause of these creepy servers. Nah thx, I’ve had enough of it and going back to Battlefield… cya

This comes from reddit and fixed it for me, now downloads at 10MB/S
I changed to Asia, paused the download, changed the download speed to 100 KB/s, unpaused it and set it back to 0(unlimited again). I did this and then it finally worked.
People have to come up with these wonky solutions because gas station sushi is more reliable than the blizzard launcher.

Deleting the game anyways.
downloaded 90 gb in aprox 1 hour.
(i used expressvpn, but any vpn works)
- log out (battle.net) and set to amerika
- use vpn and select US server
- download the amerika version of the game
- switch after download back to europe
PS: Blizzard get your sht together
If you are having problemt downloading, change your region, it may help alot

Same here. 88 GB of download after Warzone? I thought I had downloaded all of the game.
And now the download is throttled like hell. 
I must wait about 2 days for a download I would manage in 3-4 hours

Your network “CGN speed limitor” is just a big ************ joke! It does not work! no its not my internet connection. NO the reinstallation of my game will not solve your CGN PROBLEMS! The peering of my Internet Provider is just fine. Invest in a good CGN yours is just bad! USE FOR EXAMPLE AKAMAI!!! our year is 2020! it feels like 1998…
