sadly still going on for me as well despite the reinstall pls fix this crap.
I have received this notification today. I tried to log back in and required my authenticator which I was told had the wrong code constantly (its the old app) so because of that I verified another way and removed the old authenticator thinking I can attach/update to the new system. My mobile now won’t log in to my bnet. Just sits there spinning eternally. So, now my account isn’t secured to boot.

I had to restart the Blizzard client application just now for an update. Here’s to hoping the authentication bug is fixed. People can still have genuine client-side “connectivity” issues, but if they fixed the post session-expiration null-data authentication issue; it should cut down on much of the instances of this occurring. fingers crossed

Same issue. Started a few days ago. Constantly making me re-login. Also coincided with the strange behavior of BNet doing some security check randomly that actually kicks me out of playing other games as it is taking the focus away from the game to go back to desktop.

So I’ve tried changing my password to something long and complicated to see if was a time expired password or complication issues and it’s still doing it.
Seems to be a blizz issue side issue.
They’ve changed something to do with authentication that’s causing the login token to expire
Can confirm as well, every time I wake my computer from sleep battle.net desktop app pops up prompting me to login with my password again. This issue started ~1 month ago or so. Has never been an issue before, I have always been logged in when resuming from sleep. It’s very annoying.
Seriously, how long does it take to get this fixed…this is stupid.
I have this exact problem. Every time my PC goes to sleep, I have to reauthenticate. This is stupid, I have to do it multiple time a day… Can you please just fix this?
Same problem here. I have followed all the troubleshooting steps, tried beta client, tried everything I can think of. Really hoping they take care of this soon.
Also I want to add in: When it pops up that I was disconnected, I put my password back in and then it gets stuck “logging in” forever. I have to fully quit out of bnet and reopen it for it to work.
At this point, I’m just quitting out of bnet and opening it up when I want to play a game. Which is a bummer, because I usually see when friends are playing to send a message or go join them. Which means playing less battle.net games for me.
same here… its also happenning if i cold boot my pc
did all the mentioned steps by blizz representatives in this thread, didnt help.
maybe one day they will fix it…

Same here it logout and does not accept my recently changed password. I literally can’t login battle.net desktop app right now.
I didn’t encountered this since the beginning, but for the past 2 weeks or more this session expired problem has been bugging me. I have been trying to login to my bnet desktop app on a daily basis and the problem still persist. Blizzard please look deeply into this!
