I was logging into my account daily for the past 6 months from the same home desktop PC with no issues. One morning I wake up and try to login but get met with “Your Blizzard Account is banned [Get Help: BLZBNTTAS00000006 ]”. I try to check my email but it looks like someone hacked into it and after a short process I was able to get it back. Looking through the recent emails from Blizzard, it seemed as though someone was trying to hack into my Blizzard account and attempt at changing the account information (an account I’ve had since ~2005). In response it seemed like Blizzard locked the account and asked for more information. After I got my email back I made a ticket and was asked to send picture ID next to a newspaper with information like ‘Full name’ ‘secret question answer’ etc., which I did. Now I receive an email today from Blizzard saying multiple people have reviewed my ticket and no action will go towards unlocking the account and it is banned forever basically. Furthermore, it says because it was in violation of game-policies for World of Warcraft specifically and I still don’t even know what led them to this perma-ban when I was just logging in normally everyday to my account and one day this happens.
Please help I have many games and my WoW subscription at the time. I just don’t know what to do, nobody to call, to get my account back.
What tends to happen here is that the folks in CS who help regain access to the account, are not the same team who handles account bans. The ban process is separate and can hit after the account has been retrieved by the account holder.
Put a ticket back in from your account and reference the other compromise ticket numbers. Point out the issues occured when the account was compromised.
As long as Blizzard can confirm via the logs that whatever got you banned did indeed happen during a compromise, they will remove the ban.

They banned my overwatch account for hacking even though ive never hacked in my life. Figured it was just a mistake until they replied to my ticket and said they are upholding it.
This stuff is just insane when you spend money on a product and they can just take it away and not give you any evidence at all. My 6 year old would get on and play against the bots. So its pretty much a double whammy. And extremely disappointing
