I’ve been trying to get access to my WoW account for the past 2 weeks. I moved to Japan and had my number changed, now my “Authenticator” doesn’t work and I can’t get access anymore. I created a brand new account to contact blizzard in game, and they’ve NOT been helpful at all. I’ve put numerous tickets into blizzard with my main account and the new account. I keep getting these “BOT” responses, and when I send a new ticket in with the correct information, they respond with “Wrong” then they close the ticket and I have to start the process all over again.
I’ve had my account since BC, took a couple month break as I moved. It’s pissing me off that I can’t access my own account because of stupid 2-step verification errors, I get that I should have changed my number when I moved, but that wasn’t an option since I didn’t have a number in Japan. Now I am locked out and can’t access any of my blizzard games. Can’t play WoW, can’t play Diablo IV, or any others.
Blizzards “Support” is almost non-existent from what I’ve researched and my experience. They don’t respond, there is no live chat, there’s no contact phone number, can’t talk to GM’s anymore in game, nothing! This is a huge issue for players to have to deal with!
Is there anyone here that can help me? I’d really appreciate it, I don’t want my 15yr account turned to dust because “Authenticator” and Blizzard Support is completely flawed.
